According to a report by The Hill published Thursday, Massie said, “I mean, there is a lot of rhetoric. And the president himself engages in it — he called it a hostile act to co-sponsor the Epstein resolution.”

And... there it is.

Self serving prick.

”I mean, there is a lot of rhetoric. And the president himself engages in it — he called it a hostile act to co-sponsor the Epstein resolution,” said Massie, who was a leading voice in pushing a motion to force the release of files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. “I think that’s ridiculous rhetoric.”

“It’s amusing,” he added. “It doesn’t offend me that he’s over the top with the rhetoric, but some people take it literally, and he should probably tone that down himself.”

Right so of course Eric didn't post the full quote to show that Massie was referring to Trump's rhetoric over Epstein.

The Hill

DJT needs to plant a chair at the pitcher’s mound tonight at Yankees Stadium and remind the country all they’ve done is create the next 10,000 Charlie Kirk’s.

Or the disclaimer by Massie giving everyone a pass:

“Well, emotions are raw, because a lot of us knew Charlie Kirk personally and had interacted with him. And so, I give everybody a pass here,” Massie said, per the report.

But why did Massie even wade into it?

The right is rightly weary of giving the progressive left a pass on these matters.

And of course he runs with a Massie smear on the day that it's announced the UK ambassador to the US was fired because of links to Epstein.

I notice he didn't comment on that thread.

I just noticed he started this threads just ten minutes after I posted the thread where Massie made the announcement.

So who you gonna take it out on? You prepared for that person's supporters to go after you? Can you guarantee that even your best efforts to defend yourself, that someone won't decide to take you out?

Let the law handle it. That's why we place the retribution function in government.

You're misreading the room. People want to express their anger about what is going without being lectured. Have you seen any riots after this? NO.

So why is the right always getting lectured, and the left excused. THAT is the point. Anger... is appropriate.
