What in Ron's Governance of Florida, or his recent National comments, lead you to believe this? Specifically.

The Desantis roll out sucks.

The people running his campaign are stupid.

It's obvious the Chip Roy and Massie announcements were planned to be rolled out at a certain interval and by God they are sticking to the calendar.

Rolling this out with all that is going on with Trump is just stupid.

TopGuv is poorly advised.

I guess Massie is a RINO globalist now too, huh? What’s Trump TV telling you? Did Laura Loomer call you yet?

Nobody stated that.

The reason T985 is saying that is because his numbers have continued to tank due to misstep after misstep.

I love Massie. He's has a right to endorse whoever he wants.

Announcing it this week is stupid but it's typical of an establishment run campaign that has no awareness to what's happening right now. It's on the calendar, so it has to happen today.

Trump is consuming all of the oxygen.

Sorry then I didn’t mean to attack you that way.

I think they’re surgically targeting a specific base of people to get them onboard and get the coffers stuffed.

I believe Trump and Ron would be about the same on borders. Ron will likely be more soft on visas putting wage pressure on especially on programmers and computer scientists because he is friends with Paul Ryan U.S. Chamber of Commerce faction of the GOP.

The biggest difference between Don and Ron is trade. Ron voted to give Obama fast track authority on TPP. Fast track authority was kind of an end around of the congressional treaty process. Luckily this legislation was passed so late into Obama's term it was easy for Don to kill when he assumed office. And there is no way Ron will have the same stance on tariffs as a national security and revenue tool. He is from the CATO Institute teaching on "free trade". "Free trade" where multinational corporations are allowed to exploit cheap labor in other countries and sell back to the U.S. and U.S. company goods manufactured here are tariffed big time going back, i.e., exfiltration of American middle class wealth. There has bee no reciprocity for decades until Trump. We need more reciprocity in trade. It's time for a little we time in the U.S.

On foreign policy, I have a strong indication that he would be pretty interventionalists just based on who he is currently surrounded by. That might not be his natural instinct but MIC is so strong I don't believe Ron has the intestinal fortitude to tell them no.

It is sort of weird to see someone "officially" endorse a candidate who is not really running yet.

I am anxious to see all of Ron's national positions that he comes out on that will be so much more "libertarian" than Trump, though. Hopefully, he lays all this out sooner than later.

DeSantis will appeal to voters that look for substance before (even well-timed) bluster. Whether the endorsements are poorly timed because Trump is in the news or his announcement is big and colorful, etc., he'll either get traction with people that want shite done or he won't. Assuming he's successful, I don't think it's going to be because he out "markets/sells" DT.

It sucks for DeSantis. The Lee Atwater/Karl Rove rollout of governors does not work in the age social media. Karl Rove is acting like network TV is as powerful as they were in 2000. Rove is a generation behind.

Being backed by Bush, Ryan and McConnell cancels it. Sorry. If you think the above are "conservative", you're crazy. If you think anyone they back is going to be a "conservative", you're still crazy.

It's hard to figure how anyone can look around and see what's going on in this country and think, 'you know, we just need good conventional wisdom strategy to flip things around.'

This post makes me laugh. I laugh because of the absurdity of the pretending game being played by team DeSantis. He's running, not running but might announce but lets do a book tour to see if he is a viable candidate to run but he is definitely running not running.

It's even worse. They will ruin Ron from ever running an effective campaign for the WH>

By the time his people are done, he will be finished.

1- This issue with DAs in NY and GA, are not going away. Today the judge said the next stage will be DEC or Jan. Throw in the SC from the DOJ.. and that should tell you.

2- at this point, what DeSantis stated and said is not going to go away. All that will happen is DeSantis will be forced to answer for what he stated over and over and as #1 continues, it's just going to harden the base towards him
