Him and his family froze their asses off in the dark for two nights, so I won't judge him for leaving. Not the best look, but in the end (as we've found out during COVID) many people can basically do their job from anywhere as long as they have a computer and a phone.

There is no issue here.
The Left are fabricating drama to attack Ted.
They are personally attacking him over this winter storm ( like HE has any control of how Texas runs its energy system ) simply to implant the idea that he's a bad person. The Marxist Dems NEED to go after Ted at the personal level because policy wise, he destroys them.

I think the fact there's more coverage and concern about Ted Cruz being with family then there was when he was standing up for all of us vs big tech recently.

I think he should have not doubled down and returned back to Texas early once News got out.
This was THE lead story last night on abc news. Meanwhile, Fox led off with Cuomo. Last I checked, Cruz didn’t kill people and cook the numbers.

The uproar about Ted reminds me of Nancy and her hair cut. Yes optics are not good, but whatever. This desire by both left and right to always be outraged is so disappointing. I am sure none of us would enjoy having everything we say or do analyzed with political goggles 24/7. I would like to see my republican friends leave the faux outrage to douches on the left going forward.
