Why dont you ask SlimTigerSlap if he wants to arrest all of the Democrat Sanctuary City Mayors in their deep blue enclaves too. Since he wants to jail American citizens for treason if they pay a migrant worker, surely aiding and abetting them is just as treasonous.

I'm a big fan of this. Every sanctuary city should be getting bus loads of illegals.
Hell, if we sent them on Amtrak, we might actually get to see them turn a profit for once.

NO!
Most of these people are here on quasi-"legal" asylum claims now. Many are working under H1-B and H2-B Visa programs. Thanks to the left, these larger companies and unions have found the work-arounds. The only people "going to jail for treason" in your world are the regular folks or small, local business owners who live and work with these people. You are suggesting we let up to a half million foreign nationals per month break our laws unimpeded, but arrest Americans for giving them work. That's insane.
These talking points are old, and they werent sincere when they were relevant. The dynamics have completely changed.
You sound like someone who thinks arresting the drug abuser makes a difference. I don't blame illegals for wanting to better lives; I blame the system that makes it comfortable for them to do so in this country.
My entire point is there shouldn't be a work-around for companies. And I couldn't care less about your "regular" folk argument. They are a part of the problem, and consequences should befall them also.

We have to get Hunter back on the board first, that way the Big Guy can get his 10%.

Yes I do.

Is the drug abuser breaking the law? Then yes. And I want the dealer, the trafficker, and the cartel arrested too! Not just the teenager in the projects caught in the middle of it all.

So instead of trying to throw granny in jail for letting Jose pressure wash her driveway and thinking that solves anything, arrest the sanctuary city mayors, or presidents that allow migrants to claim legal asylum under false pretenses outside of a legal port of entry. The ones who refuse to enforce the laws on the books. The people who have violated their oath to law. Arrest the DHS bureaucrats who is allowing millions of them into the country. Oh wait, you voted for those people.
You can't let tens of millions of people in this country and expect them not to integrate into our society, the economy, etc... The American people are not going to sit back and let them starve because politicians want to use them as a voting bloc.

You may not want to believe this, but Abbott will be a political pariah within two years or so. Before the 2024 election cycle... It's a matter of physics and other immutable laws.

Why can't we do both?

jail your neighbor for frickign treason because he unknowingly hired a roofer who has a few illegals on his crew?
The roofer should be the one going to prison in this case. He is the one keeping the illegals employed. 25 years per illegal. This shite has got to stop.

You arent listening. The corporations arent breaking the law. They are hiring "asylees" under a legal visa program.
And you never once suggested enforcing our border or holding politicians accountable until now. You only carped about arresting small businesses and private citizens for treason.
Sweet backtrack though. I felt it coming.

What are you harping on about? I literally said this:
Hiring an illegal immigrant should be considered a treasonous act.
You're the one who extrapolated that I only meant small businesses and private citizens. I mean EVERYONE. Laws should change. Corporations should be held accountable. Politicians should be held accountable. And yes, small businesses and private citizens should be held accountable also.
Enforcing border policy is damn near impossible. You can lay out a 100 rat traps, but won't solve your infestation if you keep cheese on the floor. We need to remove the incentive to come.

We can't have a vibrant economy, and a free society that benefits all, and not expect people to want to come. And they SHOULD want to come. Thats how America was built. But there is a legal way to do that. And border enforcement DOES work. We've seen it:

The only things that stop them is an absolute dogshit economy they dont want to participate in, or focused border enforcement and deportations behind a strong economy. Which one are you picking?

Illegal immigrants are a strain on our system. It doesn't matter what city they're located. It's goofy optics, since they survive off Fed money anyway. Gov Wheels gives his base the feel goods while losing the cheap labor.
What?
The local schools that have to figure out how to educate a huge new group of children who don't speak English, the local hospitals who have to provide indigent care to anybody that shows up in their ER, plus an interpreter because they don't speak English, the local law enforcement that have to deal with a huge new population of people that have already proved willing to break at least one law, the local population that sees a drastic increase in their auto insurance premiums to cover all the new uninsured drivers...
Some federal reimbursement is available for some of these things, but it is not accurate to say local and state dollars are not expended when you have thousands of people, mostly poor, pouring across your border. They are a strain on the system like you said, but let's let other states see if they think the city these people are located in matters. If it doesn't, why are these mayors screaming so loud?

I agree with your points. Though I believe a state like TX is recouping those cost in cheap labor. I also believe those mayors are screaming loudly because it makes for good headlines. I can't credit anyone for moving our border issues in the right direction. They're all full of shite to me.

It is so beautiful to behold. The border states should have lines of Greyhounds waiting and just funnel them into the busses and proceed to carry them to the blue utopias.
No human is illegal right?
