How can they restrict firearms when it’s a constitutional right? It’s the govt they can do anything, they could certainly clarify when life begins. That would pretty much outlaw a lot of abortions.

Then why don’t we have it?
Roberts is a reasonably reliable textualist, who does not want to see the court politicized. Those two facts make him easy to predict.

Louisiana’s congressional maps.
No one can look at the current map and think that it is anything other than naked gerrymandering.
Drawing lines in LA is NOT hard.
It is only difficult if you are member of the legislature, OR if you want Louisiana to have two districts that are drawn to specifically elect black people.

The one observation of Roberts I have in connection with what you said there is that he’s perhaps a little too worried about the Court intersecting with politics. (Not that I’m intending to say that there should not be a factor at all.) Perhaps that “over worry” influence his thinking and practices too heavily. And perhaps at least to some extent all of that boils down to personal concern as to his legacy and the legacy of “the Roberts Court.” I find this particular observation to be quite problematic. JMO

Ole SlowMo will be here to scold you soon.
He does not even realize how indoctrinated he is into the flawed notion that the Founders and Framers crafted this US Constitution with the intent that the US Judicial Branch could be as Activist and Un-Bridled as it is currently.
The Judicial Branch is supposed to be the LEAST active and MOST restrained Branch of Government. What we have now is a Perversion of the Founders and Framers Vision in which the US Judicial Branch of Government is the most powerful Branch.
Why did it become so powerful? Because this was the first Branch of the Government taken over by the American Radical Left.
If Trump isn't careful, some Federal Judge is going to order Trump to put all of those Trannys back on Active Duty Military Service - Ooops that already happened.

I haven’t mentioned one theory about Roberts, I’m actually calling it out by saying it there is one then why hasn’t it been used on him.

You are among the sane posters here. Definition of "added value."

Believe you me, I wouldn’t.
ETA…..Except to the extent I do listen to what they say insofar as I’m pretty sure the exact opposite of whatever they do say is always going to be the best position or route to take.

Did you somehow manage to read that as me advocating for that point of view? Surely not.
It’s an observation, not an opinion.

It all comes down to 2 Justices. Roberts and Barrett. I personally don't trust either one of those bastards.
I wonder if the Dems ever nominated a justice who ended up disappointing them? Can't think of anybody. This double-crossing bullshite only happens to us.

Come on fellas, think about this. If they rule that judges can file tros for the country, soon you will have 1500 federal judges filing them, state, city and county filing them.......and the Supreme Court has no more power than a traffic court judge in night court.
