I'm all for these people getting what they deserve, but he didn't even attempt to avoid her and its not like she was throwing herself in front of the car, she was facing the other direction.

Yes, but he was past the others and there was more than enough room to go around her.
Def don't feel bad for her, but that was pretty shitty on his part. Had she been actively trying to block him, then she is fair game.

Or maybe she should not have been beyond the fence line standing in the middle of the vehicle entrance......that might have prevented it as well.
