If they did, what a quick and easy lawsuit that would be to win. What could they charge with?
Not obstructing govt operations, since they are relying on the 'private' bit to get around the 4A warrant requirement.
Loitering wouldn't fly as he is actively engaged in 1A protected activity.

I mean a lot has been done to limit the reach of red light cameras maybe we should be talking to the people that took those down

Ailsa, I did that site where you find where flock cameras are near you- basically the only ones near me were at Lowes. I think I did a 5mi radius.

I wonder why they were only at Lowes?...and are there plans to increase cameras in more areas in the future? We've got a few on the more traveled roads here and one at Aldi...I'll see if they are at any other stores.

I dunno, that's why your embed got my attention. There's an Aldis directly across from it, but the one time I checked the website it didn't show any for their parking lot or any of the other many businesses.
The Lowes IS the last store before the redlight onto the main road, maybe it's doing double duty.
I'm sure more will come- I don't like it but am mostly ambivalent about it now- every store has cameras directly on you anyway. Aggressively so.
