Pray hard people that Trump wins. Even you atheists out there. One prayer isn't going to hurt you.

quote:

Republican pollster Frank Luntz told Fox News’ Bret Baier on Thursday night, that his "profession is done" if President Trump wins re-election come Nov. 3, and proves the national polls wrong yet again.

“I hate to acknowledge it, because that's my industry — at least partially — but the public will have no faith. No confidence. Right now, the biggest issue is the trust deficit,” Luntz said in response to Baier asking how pollsters will fare if they are wrong in predicting the 2020 presidential election. “Pollsters did not do a good job in 2016. So, if Donald Trump surprises people, if Joe Biden had a 5- or 6-point lead, my profession is done."

Some are incompetent, some are stubborn, some are corrupt

Only the media cares about public polls

Pollsters should be blaming the left for this.

Making people believe they will be targeted for showing support for Trump makes it hard to get accurate polling because people won’t just admit that to a stranger.

Correct.

I said this in another thread. This election will be the killshot for the pollsters.

Seriously. Everyone needs to set aside a few minutes everyday to pray for Trump until the result of the election is final. It ain't over til it's over.

Not really. There will always be corporate establishment media willing to pay for push polls and a large swath of dumb arse Americans that believe them.

Sorry Frank, but I’m old enough to remember when you called it for Hillary on Election Day in 2016. Would love to know any other profession where you can consistently be wrong and keep your job.

Maybe he could become an NFL referee

Typically when someone does a poor job, you don’t hire them again, and instead move on to find someone who will do the job better.

If a poll says Trump is trailing by 7 points and he wins, they get fired, and it’s not hard to look up their accuracy historically.

The free market should correct the issue, unless the polls are intentionally slanted. Which appears to be part of the problem that’s not been acknowledged.

Maybe they should 1) not lie, 2) realize that there are a lot of voters lying to them and 3) not lie.

I truly believe some of these “polls” aren’t even actually polling people, they’re just making shite up. They’re too detached from reality. Hell, Biden’s camp even admitted the polls were wrong because they thought it would affect voter turnout.

Yeah.

That jackwagon asked his followers if they'd rather hear about the China Flu or substantive subjects during the debate and they all ignored him.

Instead, they all asked him about his emails with Biden.

All his followers got were crickets.

He's a fig.

this is what happens when you demonize half the country and declare them nazis. Whoever heard of an incumbent president having a very large and very loyal underground base of support? We are out here by the millions and you will never be able to poll us.

Good. Polling for the public is used as propaganda to manipulate option. It’s why so many people lie to pollsters. It’s a scam and everyone knows it.

The free market should correct the issue, unless the polls are intentionally slanted. Which appears to be part of the problem that’s not been acknowledged.

Trump won Nebraska by 25 points in 2016. According the 538, the average polling has Trump up 7 in Nebraska.

Trump won Texas by 9 points in 2016. He's going to win it by 7-8 points again this year. According to 538, the average polling has Trump up 0.5% in Texas.

Trump won Iowa by 10 points in 2016. He's going to win it by almost the same amount this year. According to 538, the average polling has Biden up 1.3% in Iowa.

Trump won Alaska by 15 points in 2016. He's going to win it by the same amount or more in 2020. According to 538, the average polling has Trump up less than 6 points.

Trump won Arkansas by 27 points in 2016. Up until the beginning of October, Trump was up 3%, according to 538 average polling. >

And this goes on and on and on and on and on. There might not be a single state that Trump doesn't outperform the polls.

TV meteorologists come to mind. Also economists. Not to mention Angel Hernandez and Joe West.
