It was proven yesterday that we are fighting there to keep Biden from being exposed. That’s it! Nothing more.

I seriously don't give a fricking shite what a bunch of Slavic eastern European countries do. Russia could nuke all the Baltic countries for all I care. If you want to "protect western values" (trannies and all the degeneracy that comes from the west) then go volunteer in the reddit foreign legion. You'll get massive upvotes and maybe plebbit gold!

I hope you really don’t think Putin sees Poland as being equal to Ukraine do you? Big difference in a small acronym …NATO!

Yes it would have required Ukraine to clean up its act. Even though that was unlikely, Putin still was afraid to risk it. Much better to have Ukraine in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) were Russia could continue to control them and exploit them.

But there are a lot of people here that believe NATO has outlived its usefulness.

As you pointed out, obviously he has not.

Your knowledge of the background of this conflict is horribly lacking.

Yes…it is.

I’m not sure if that is a good thing though.

A better question would be....which european countries have contributed their 2% of GDP since the organization was formed? They should not be part of our obligation if they get involved. And there are several starting with Germany.

Maybe Eastern Europe, who actually have stronger interests than we do, should step up and do something?

This ^^^ has been my contention from day 1.

If the European Union was footing 80% of the cost for Ukraine’s fight against the Russians I would have little problem with the US giving humanitarian aid and some military assistance.

Since the war ratcheted up in Feb of 22, European nations have donated more than the US has although it’s not 80%.

Let me know if you think the USA should likewise get out of Syria? Or is that different? Should we be humiliated like you propose for Russia.
