BLM has accomplished exactly what they wanted to. They gave themselves a name that sounds like an equality group and most people are too stupid to dig in and research what that group is all about.

The conservative analogue is pro-life. Both terms with positive word associations but loaded with political associations. Bringing that up gets people doing real mental gymnastics.

The sentiment that black lives matter is an innocent but unnecessary and rhetorical one.

We could rehash the none use of black lives matter when the death is not at the hand of police all day, but it does not make the use of All lives matter anymore justified. Just like Black Lives Matter only being used in selective instances, All Lives Matter is strictly a reactionary retort by people who are uncomfortable having a discussion. The large majority of black people have no clue the Marxist propaganda the BLM organization stands for. They truly believe they are targeted and oppressed. Whether that is right or wrong doesn’t matter. People who counter with All Lives Matter are just as emotional and divisive. One has to find some common ground to start a discussion. You would be surprised how much one can learn for your fellow black citizens. Just like all of whitey is not racist, not all of black people are like the videos people like to post on Twitter and FB. Mutual respect even without mutual agreement is ok.
