Why do you think this insane surge in all types of violence is taking place right now?

Causes: woke mind virus, TDS, Leftist policies that have just about destroyed everything. Look at Democratic run cities and our universities and the permissive criminal justice system.
Also our Presidential Freedom recipient George Soros. Awarded by the worst President in American history.

It’s the random nature of the violence that’s changed. People die in wars, but you also expect that - it’s a war.

People walking down the street, on the train, bus etc getting attacked by some random drugged up animal is a new phenomena. School shootings are now a monthly if not multi monthly thing. Carjackings have soared ever since schools closed during wuflu

Less total people are direct victims of violence, but it’s more harmful to society when the victims are going about daily life and it’s not happening on a battlefield. People are even being attacked in Church these days.

This is probably overall the most peaceful time of human existence. We just hear about everything now.

Don't forget the Yom Kippur War with Israel and Egypt. 1973

The late 60's were really terrible.

Are you like 12 and not familiar with the civil war that was fought on American soil?

Read OP Title.... "...Since I've been alive"

also read the OP text...
quote:

Random violence, planned violence, micro (individuals) violence, macro (groups) violence.

Has frick all to do with the civil war and everything to do with violent crime victimization due to lax judicial system and lack of insane asylums.

purposeful agitation via the advent of the fricking internet....Crazy people can be mined as useful idiots and the unstable can find each other and feed off each other's crazy. It's a recipe for instability, violence and disaster

/\ this /\ is the primary element - coupled with the Democrat purposeful support of everything that diminishes importance of normal 2 parent households and indulges a culture of individual irresponsibility. Their only motivation is to find 'racism' in any action that does not support their desire for absolute control/manipulation of the election process.

They've been working feverishly for this kind of pauper population that can be easily manipulated for 6 decades - and made easier with the mind-numbing advent of the 'innerwebs.'

It must be emphasized that the evil spawned by democrats could not have survived had it not been for the wholehearted support of the major news outlets during that period. It is rare to see a purely factual article that fairly presents both sides of any politically oriented action.

I am proud to have been raised at a time when common sense was the primary law of the land. I do not recall a single time during my first 30 years where 'unconstitutional' was a topic of anything but academic discussion.

Trump - for all his personal faults - has given us a welcome respite from this headlong lurch toward socialistic-style poverty and suppression. It is up to us to take advantage of this period of time - because once a democrat socialistic state is finally imposed, only violent revolution can escape it.

You can vote yourself into socialism - but you have to fight your way out of it and once our nation falls, there is no nation on earth that can - or will - help us.

You have a reference to Psalm 23 in your profile, and you have to ask?

The Bible describes the Last Days as times of great difficulty, including widespread violence, wars, and lawlessness, mirroring the extreme wickedness seen in Noah's time (Genesis 6, Matthew 24, 2 Timothy 3). This societal breakdown is linked to rampant self-love, disobedience, and contempt for God, leading to increased conflict, but believers are called to overcome evil with good, live peacefully where possible, and trust God for justice, as vengeance belongs to Him.

Violent crime in America (I know, not the planet) is way lower than in the 70’s or 80’s.

Since OP has been alive?

Reading comprehension around here is worse than a 2nd grade classroom full of IEP and ESL.

In my defense, the OP did not say he was under a thousand.
