You just made that up. Theres no concealing a long rifle, especially in a security situation. You are trying to cram square peg concealed handgun training into a round hole situation.

I'm not sure how often you traffic this site, but this board is lousy with former military, Leo, range master, and ccw types that have forgotten more about firearms training than you'll ever know.

You can keep this up, and continue to be made to look like a clueless child, or you can scurry off with what pride you have left. I'd advise the latter.

Carrying an ar rifle to Wal-Mart? Yeah, sure. But that's not where Rittenhouse was that night, was he?

My original point still stands. He was operating outside of the laws of Wisconsin. Had he been there defending his family home or family owned business which the law allows, I would donate to his defense fund. But he wasn't. So we are here talking about the lesser of two criminals.

The whole point was you don't show it until you are ready to use it. So if you are walking around showing off your borrowed rifle, you look like your trying to provoke. Draw attention to yourself

So all this is about is that you oppose the scary looking gun. It has nothing to do with you're supposed genius regarding weapons training. You just tried to come up with a false appeal to Authority and now your pants around your ankles.

I'm not sure why concealing the weapon is relevant. From the video available, there were other guys carrying long guns that night. Based on your logic, there should have been a helluva a lot more people shot.

You never made a valid point, champ.

They MIGHT have an underage open carry charge, but will have to clear a loophole for rifles. The rest of what you wrote is utter horseshite.

Or maybe he lives in a country that carrying around an AR15 in public is a little strange. Not normal. Out of the ordinary. Or done by somebody trying to provoke something?

What country would that be? Where I live, carrying a rifle is a normal thing.

When did I say anything about concealing a long rifle? The point was in general about firearms. "Don't show unless you plan to use it". Nothing about long rifles. I'm not a fan of open carry. Made that perfectly clear. Or atleast I thought I did. You are mixing up Shorty's mocking with what I actually said.

This has not yet been determined. I've already said this multiple times now.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the situation at hand. Wisconsin has no law that states open carry can only occur when defending a family home or business.

You being a fan or not is irrelevant.

How, pray tell, do you "not show" your rifle without concealing it? Tell us about how private security officers, police, and military "not show" their rifles until it's time to kill someone.

Now, I'm just fricking with you for fun, fyi.

I am more surprised this 17 year old has more stones to defend freedom than the Low-T internet warriors here.

THE KID TOOK THE INITIATIVE TO DEFEND LIVES AND PROPERTY FROM RIOTERS....

His age or "open carrying" is irrelevant to the fact the kid was "attacked" 1st. Its not the kids fault those felons and many here do not understand the constitution.

It was self defense, but it is certainly true that if the board didn't agree with his "side", they would be harping on the lawbreaking he did - potentially even throwing in some "play stupid games" remarks.

Any ire should be directed at his parents for letting a child out into this madness.

It has more to do with any kind of self defense plea. If they rule out self defense because of the state laws, then the kid is in trouble.

What state law precludes the right to self defense?

I don't live there anymore, too many pansy arse people moved there, who are afraid of scary guns. So I moved to a better place, where it's perfectly normal to practice a person's constitutional rights.
