Well it is politics. I guess you haven't been paying attention, cause this is pretty standard to be happening.
Even Ruth Bader Ginsberg said this isn’t the norm, and that she’s ashamed of the partisan politics that have occurred during his hearing.
She then goes on to list the past justices that were approved by large numbers, suggesting that most would work across the aisle in the past where that isn’t happening now.

I am not willing to give you the benefit of the doubt. You are human garbage.
The above is a perfect metaphor for what passes as political discourse on the American Left.
Prior to this pithy and witty response, I failed to see the value in trafficking in negative assumptions about "information" about "individuals" and name calling as a way to decide lifetime judicial appointments. Now, I stand corrected. It appears that such a method is truly "progressive." Thank you Brian. For showing me, and the rest of our poliboard brethren the way.

You should forgive Brian. He’s struggling between wanting to win and being human. It causes a lot of cognitive dissonance as a Democrat.

Coming from the aisle "depends on what is, is"

am seeing theories that it involves bribing the woman involved in the incident to shut up. I have no idea if that is true or not, but that would certainly be relevant.

Only because filth like you won’t call out your own party for acting this way.

an alternative theory is that they knew about this all along, and waited until it was too late to sub the nominee.
Then it’s gonna bite them in the arse, because if this stunt costs Kavanaugh a seat on the SC, the Dems night as well concede the midterms. And Trump will just nominate another candidate (perhaps someone not as agreeable) after.

said that a young Judge Kavanaugh back in high school had some sort of consensual sexual encounter with an anonymous female.
Didn't we all? Well, except for the queer guys.

Trying to recapture the glory of the Anita Hill fiasco.

She is a lying piece of shite. This is just like Harry Reid lying about seeing Romney's tax return on the Senate floor. These people are diseased.

When is the vote happening
Posted on 9/13/18 at 5:34 pm to Old Sarge
I think the judiciary committee votes next week. Then McConnell gets the senate to vote some day end of September.
I think..
