I would guess we'll know the answer to the first question maybe 2-5 years after we leave.
I would guess we'll know the answers to the other two questions in maybe 2-5 more months.
We've only been there 3 months and change. I know society has become an "I want it NOW!" instant, drive-through culture, but some of y'all are going to have to dig deep and grow some patience.

You’re right. Israel will back off in Lebanon in a minute if Hezbollah quits attacking them. One of the points I listed in my deal requirements was for Iran to quit funding Hezbollah. If they do the threat from Hezbollah will dissipate. But I expect that if Iran agrees to that they won’t stick to it.
