already predicted weeks ago Trump wins Arizona by 5 points and Lake wins by 1-2 points. Lots of Kari Lake haters on this board.
who votes for Trump in a voting booth but picks a drug cartel wife beater Democrat over the R candidate???

I assume voters are smart enough to know Trump needs Congress to get his agenda through.

I don't understand that.
What is the reason/s some seem to despise her?
Serious question.

Trump's lead is outside the MOE so it is likely that he is ahead in Arizona. Is he ahead by almost 8 points? Doubtful but he only needs 1 more vote than Kamala can manufacture to win. Lake's lead is within the MOE so that is just pure coincidence.

Independents and moderates who lean left and don't like the national DEMs/Kamala. Trump is winning a lot of these nationally.

Lake is hated in AZ. If this were he first race, I'm sure she'd be winning comfortably. She's lost 2 state races already for a reason. The same people who will be moderate about Trump won't change their mind with her.

I'd also caution the fact that this poll, broken down by party ID, was 53.2 safe/lean GOP, 32.7 safe/lean Dem

She's a wildcard who obviously thinks of herself above any association/party, and she has a high likelihood of feeling she's the heir apparent.

She wouldn’t even win the AZ primary

Just got back from Pembroke, Va with the wife. From the Tennessee/Va border all the way to Pembroke I saw TWO Harris-Walz signs, and they were obviously campaign banners on the side of the road. In everyone’s yards though were all Trump signs!

Her jump jives with Slick Willie's comment regarding how she appeals to him.

Name the 2 races she lost.

She lost the governor's race in 2022 by 17,000. The final percentage was 50.3% to 49.7%.

Perhaps you're confusing her with the GOPe darling Martha McSally, who did lose 2 straight statewide races.

For whatever reason I thought she was the 2020 nom.

I would not want McSally to run again and lose, either, FWIW.

Is this the first Lake has led in any poll, any year?
