Now that we are seeing “evidence,” most people sit around saying, “nothing will happen.”

And they’re right. It’s sucks, but it’s true.

And that's by design.

Who crafted the legislation? Congress.
Whom does the legislation seek to restrain? Congress.
To whom was the authority given to investigate claims of violations? Congress.

Congress has bestowed upon themselves the ability to self-police themselves on this. Part of that ability is to decide whether or not they choose to even do it and they -of course- have chosen not to due to M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction)

Maybe this information will finally cause an end to Congress's insider trading.

Now you understand why republicans will never stop spending, or stop any fraud schemes. They are in on it too.

Our founders told us what to do; they just didn’t envision us being too soft to do it.

No wonder they want to "serve" us.

Boy, you said it! It always burns me up when people get rich in a job and then say they “served”. They served themselves.

Remember that each congressional trade that makes them money has a loser on the other side. That loser is us.

It was not ‘if’, but ‘when’ Ai would track lobby donations to congressmen and how it affected their votes and how these votes influenced valuations in the companies they traded in.

How long before it can figure out the real identity of message board posters?

Congress and their insider trading should be making people dump tea in the harbor from both sides, the left finds it ok though

that's funny because a leftist started this website and is leading the charge on getting corporate money out of politics and putting an end to congressional stock trading.

No on elected on the right wants to end stock trading for congress.

I suppose once it hacks the site and gets the email address. Hell, it may want to do that on its own pretty soon. We haven’t even begun to know what a surveillance state looks like.

Probably not necessary. Just cross reference every post you’ve ever made. In one you said what part of a town you live in; in another you said what high school you went to, a third revealed your age, a fourth your birthday. Your hobbies, that you had a car accident on a particular day, that your son works for a certain company.

There is enough information on this board, about most of us, that AI could figure it out.

Which is why I am careful to not mention ANY of those things. Not because of Ai, but because there may be some bored Autists lurking here.

AI can perform certain operations faster than you can manually, if you tell it what you want to find.

Doesn't mean it's "smart".

I hope you all noticed Tommy Tuberville's profile right underneath Nancy Pelosi's with an all time return of over 16% to her 18.4%.

That's what I keep telling y'all. If you really don't like the Swamp, that dude is the last politician you should support. Well, according to this AI tech, the 2nd to last, with Pelosi being the last.

Congressional term limits and banning individual stock trading would go a very long way to rebuilding people's trust in the legislature.

But we can't be having common sense laws like that, now can we?

Bryan Steil -R (as in Republican ) introduced the bill.

But yeah, virtually all of congress are corrupt pigs.
