Lmao they're 100% losing the house, they barely have it now. Senate is still a 50/50 I think

Unless something big changes I dont see the GOP holding the house. They will keep the senate, lose the house but it will still be close and not the 2010 level bloodbath.

R's lost 42 seats in 2018. 2010 D's lost 62, I could see it being close to that for R's this year. It'll probably be in the 50s.

At this point I'd give the Dems a 80%+ chance to retake the Senate.... GOP could easily lose incumbent Senate seats in NC/ME/OH/TX/IA/NE/AK. It would be hard to get the Senate back until 2030 or 2032 if that was to happen, potentially making a Vance or Rubio Presidency in '28 a lame duck from day 1.

It's pretty bleak out there right now, not sure there is enough time to turn it around before November. Trump screwed up big time with Noem, lost his edge on the immigration issue with her, fumbled the Epstein issue, and the longer the Iran war drags out the worse for him. But if he cuts bait now, he's leaving an empowered IRGC that will obtain and even use nuclear weapons. Quite the pickle we are in now.... All he had to do was enforce the border, targeted deportations on the violent criminals, and focus on affordability issues. But instead he went off the deep end.

Well they would otherwise have had to abandon any efforts at controlling the border and continued to fund Ukraine. And a dozen other things the democrats want. Turn it over at the midterms. By 2028 people will be sick of them.

Define killing it? S&P500 total return is well below its historical average from inauguration through today.

you must be a true statesman and quite the academic if you consider eliminating possession of 60% enriched Uranium from the world's largest sponsor of terrorism as "getting too cute".
I don't mind the detour at all considering what's been done to the Iranian regime. If this is war, I'll take it. Its been incredibly smooth by any measure of the term.

Dow is up more than double since trump was elected the first time.

If you vote on feelings instead of reality and facts, you might be a democrat.

Yeah buddy. We all want war in Ukraine, no borders, medicaid/care fraud, daycare fraud, Mamdami, Sanctuary Cities, DEI, Climate Czars, etc etc etc.

Please.

Those of us above 100 realize that Trump has his finger on several triggers pointed at the Democrats that he can pull at any time that will destroy them come November.

And Democrats have provided so much material for brutal campaign ads against them. Once the campaigns heat up, they're cooked IMO. Between that and if Elon, Trump, and GOP operatives push a get-out-the-vote campaign, we're in good shape. The only thing that thwart us is low voter turn out... That's the only concern I have.

Well, they're not now. And the campaigns haven't really even cranked up yet. Independents overwhelmingly support Republicans and Trump. Have you seen the Democrat Party's favorability lately? You might want to look into that.
