Probably yesterday.

Since 1964 over 2.5M people are estimated to have died from secondhand smoke.

Which is why there are now laws regulating where people can smoke as to not frick it up for the rest of us.

Why can't we have common sense car regulations to prevent traffic fatalities caused by speeding?

You do realize we are just years away from self driving cars being a prominent part of society. The huge positive of a self driving car is the removal of human error which is the reason for just about every auto fatality.

The Right to Vote seems pretty clear but conservatives have been trying to curtail that for years by placing regulations in the way. There are rules and regulations that apply to everything.
Voting shouldn’t be a right. If there is one thing I could wave my magic wand and change it would be universal suffrage.

That statistic contains so much bullshite that it's laughable. Name one non-smoker--anyone, anywhere--who died from secondhand exposure. Exhaled / ambient cigarette smoke is a olfactory annoyance, but a person would have to be locked into a sealed room with a smoker for many, many years--longer than the smoker would live--to remotely approach the levels of smoke an actual user ingests.

Not arguing that cigarettes aren't bad/harmful, etc. Just pointing out that the secondhand smoke argument is a bullshite narrative.

These are people who choose to spend a large amount of time around smokers. Spouses, family members, jobs. Not random people at a school.

No. These are low wage workers. These are people who typically come from poor and minority communities.

Why do you hate low wage workers and poor and minority communities?

I hate these arguments. When was the last time tobacco killed 17 people who weren't using it?

From the article:
quote:

Almost 450,000 Americans die every year from smoking. About 50,000 of these are from second-hand smoke.

Yup.

Cigarettes and guns are both highly regulated now and neither are banned outright.
