Bigger deal is if you crack Act Blue, then you get both the mechanism they were funneling dark money but you also get the political hit with how candidates become tainted with the question of did their grass roots support, ie Bernnie, AOC, etc is actually real or are they part of the scam.

The political stench of the Act Blue accusations will inadvertently cause a group of people to pull back funding and then when their quarterly donations are way short in comparison to the pre-Act Blue era, then they will become guilty by association, even if they are clean.

The problem with something like this is no one will believe you if you said your prior funding was legit, even if it was…

Yes, prison time for politicians will/would be great, but much like killing US AID, the destruction of the underlying system is the bigger longterm win.

The track record of people “going to prison” reporting on X has to be 0 for 1 million

Elon should offer $1B and Trump should offer a single pardon to the first mother fricker that blows the whistle on the grift machine and names all the names and also point to the supporting documentation.

Ironically Biden (the ones really running shite in shadows) sped up Ukraine money in the last months. They had no idea about DOGE. So the money trail will be fresh. I think in 2024 we doubled all prior monies. If not mistaken a large dump in Aug or Sep (prior to Nov elections).

I’m of the stance that I don’t want to stoop to their level and also don’t want to create martyrs.

I think when they prosecuted Trump it empowered his base a lot

So they laundered $100 billion via ActBlue in little $5 and $10 deposits? That would be 10-20 BILLION transactions

I could believe some USAID charities did this with millions or even tens of millions.

But $100 billion?

C'mon man.

I feel comfortable that this is the case, but I’d like to see it proven. Then I’d like to see those responsible hung.

Disagree. They will just come up with a new system and a new system after that. As long as there is no risk or downside in getting caught why wouldn't the just try again?

These mother frickers need to either hang or spend life in jail. Make a statement that going forward that's what will happen. Like punching the biggest, meanest, blackest dude in the mouth day 1 in jail. Send a message.

Please let South Carolina disgraceful Senator Lyndsey Graham be one.

I know he would enjoy sexual benefits in prison, but he still need to go.

Former U.S. Senator Robert Menendez Sentenced To 11 Years In Prison For Bribery, Foreign Agent, And Obstruction Offenses

Bribery - Taking money in kickbacks to vote for war funding
Foreign Agent - Traveling to Ukraine to "negotiate" for their funding
Obstruction - Impeaching Trump to end his request for an investigation

Sounds prisonish

You'll be surprised as to who will talk when facing life in prison. I'd imagine a few low level dems will get unalived in very qierd circumstances

5 years ago I would have agreed with you.

With the Epstein file revelations, DOGE killing the cash cow, and Trunp doing his thang suicides will increase for the dems. I will have a moment of silence while I take a dump.

Well there is a key difference here in your concerns. Trumps base was empowered because this was clearly contrived and politicized. He was targeted by despicable characters.

Prosecuting actual criminals for stealing billions of tax payer dollars isn’t contrived or political. The media can light the fuse on that but it won’t convert anyone.

One is legit. One isn’t.

From your perspective that makes sense but the left views it differently.
