Davey, I was never a fan of most of the investigations, but I am from the NY area and Trump has been known as a guy who is more talk than action and if you work for him get paid up front or get ready for pennies on the dollar (see Atlantic City). Here is a newspaper about that - NorthJersey -

I won’t question the notion one NY’er might pick up on some things about another NY’er that a redneck from North Louisiana perhaps may not notice. But even that aside, even ‘neck is familiar with the whole “caricature” of big shot NYC business types, cutthroat is an adjective that comes to mind. Always quick with a retort, sometimes or oftentimes rather chippy ones. IMO he just seems to be a product of that environment in the NYC business world (and of course internationally a little later), and a pretty hugely successful one at that, so yeah I presume he was/is a little extra in the cutthroat department. Sure some otherwise “innocent bystanders” may’ve gotten the short end of the stick at various points throughout, but agajn to me that’s cutthroat NYC business, and bet the highest levels of real estate there is especially nasty.
Long story short, he’s exactly what I expect him to be, both then and now. Thankful for it in a way, because it all contributed to the unique force of nature he is today. That’s right I said force of nature. Lol

I really wish a prog would explain to me why gun toting right wingnuts did not fire a single shot in an insurrection. How walking into the capital building, ushered by the police, while mostly staying within the velvet ropes, is worse than 9/11 and Pearl Harbor put together.
Please, anyone, explain to me exactly what bad things happened that day besides a retard fed plant taking the podium and a single idiot taking Pelosi’s junk mail because apparently he was stupid enough to bleed on it. I don't think you are anyone is stupid but if I am hearing the chant "Hang Mike Pence" and seeing that structure I would be freaked out.
I mean I can see an instant tribunal being formed. A "prosecutor" lays out his "case", someone is appointed "defense counsel" who admits his client is guilty, punishment - death. To the gallows! Oops. Not study? Lets use a knife!
I think we can all be glad nothing worse happened, but you never know what can happen with a mob. All you need is a drunk or doped up person with a gun or knife and anything can happen.

There were lots of people with knives and guns. You have to know crazy right wings extremists were armed to the teeth, but somehow never used the weapons they’ve been convicted of carrying. No one died, except for people killed by the police. Do you not find that the least bit odd?
