The United States of America is incrementally becoming an Anti-Christian nation.
IMHO, it won't be difficult for the Marxists to diminish Christianity here in the USA because, after they pit one Christian sect against another, they will be able to suppress one sect at a time, and with allies from the Christian sect that is not under attack at the time.
The most easy target will be the Catholics, because, Pedo-stuff. If I were the Marxist Left, I would first focus on gathering Evangelical allies willing to being more direct attacks on the US Catholic Church. I'll be looking for evidence of this sort of thing as the years unfold.
Of course, the Marxists can't gather allies by saying "Hi, I'm a Marxist, won't you help me attack this particular Christian sect?" The Marxists will come in disguise.

Meh. They have a Marxist Pope and a solid, paramilitary chain of command structure.
The "easiest" targets should be the "bigoted" Southern Baptists, but they're already neutered and walking away from a Biblically-based faith message and are all aboard the SJW bandwagon along with the Methodists, Presbyterians, Episcopals, etc.
So, the very next easiest target should be the evangelical/full gospel type places, but many of those are rooted in African American faith traditions, so good luck there.
I wouldn't worry, though. Christian denominations will not, in any organized way, defend the faith from these such attacks. Individual Christians and some congregations will, but that will be the end of it.

watch them come for Tolkien's work next. Tolkien is the foundation of modern day high fantasy literature, comics and pop culture in general. He pretty much revitalized the definition of the Hero's Journey. Tolkien was also a very proud Judeo Christian.

These Antifa assholes are Marxists. Same shite happened in Germany, BEFORE the Nazi's took power.
What happened then was, the German people were so disgusted with the Marxists and their crap, that they bought into the Nazi response of whipping Marxist arse, and didn't "read the fine print" on what else was coming.
I think Trump is fine, and not a danger. But the government needs to do something with these assholes soon, before the climate gets so bad that we DO get a Nazi movement in response. Because early on, we're likely to be cheering them on, before we realize what's up.
