So when they surgically dismember the child (mother is “with child” as commonly said for centuries) it’s not murder? When a pregnant woman is murdered and the child also dies, it’s a double homicide.

YOU keep lying bro

And I’m for exceptions like rape and incest if it’s reported early (first couple of weeks) and if the mother’s life is in peril

What restaurants ?

I'm still trying to find a full list. Apparently there are 40 cowards out there who don't want to publicize their participation of this. I want to know who they are so I can add them to my list.

By definition that is not what's happening. Keep lying if you want, I guess.

US Government said that slaves weren't real people in the 1800's. I guess if you were living at that time, you'd agree with that too? I mean, government is never wrong, are they?

Yes, babies in utero are humans, idiot. I know you have to spin things to make yourself feel better, but make no mistake. Aborting a baby is killing a human. No amount of smugness and libsplaining will change that.

As a small business owner in the retail space, I can't for the life of me figure out why these folks want to potentially alienate half their clientele. It's mind boggling.

Especially in such a highly competitive restaurant market as New Orleans. A couple down months and any one of these places could be closing shop.

I wonder how these uber liberal hipsters convince themselves in their gentrified neighborhood (which we are told is bad, by the left) whose clientale base is overwhelmingly majority white (which we are told is bad, by the left), that having this bake sale is going to make up for their lack of cultural awareness? I love when liberalism starts to tear itself apart.

Libs response: "well it shoudn't be".

Yet, we don't see them campaigning to change the law, do we? Yet they are more than willing to change laws allowing partial birth abortions.

The mind of liberal is filled with dead ends and u-turns. The maze never ends, it just retraces its steps after a healthy bout of amnesia.

I hope Gracious Bakery goes down and has to shutter....I hate the frickin woman.....I hate that frickin bakery especially during Mardi Gras. That location used to be run by some good people that used to produce some of the best Cuban Sandwiches this side of Miami....I just don't like her.

Turkey and the Wolf....I like that place but I'll readily go in there eat and tell the owner off on the way out....Good food is good food

Someone needs to get a full list of participants. There are only four listed on the Facebook Event page but the article states "over 50"

What are the mental gymnastics required for you to rationalize the city of Los Angeles voting liberal despite the fact that millions work there, for a ton of money.

Great that you point out Los Angeles as I used to live there and can speak on it easily. Most of the successful people I knew there were quite financially conservative as well. They had liberal social views. There is a reason OC went republican for as long as it did. They thought they were being virtuous voting democrat but those democrat cities were so segregated, they had no clue what was going on in the shitty parts of the cities.

Who do these people think spend money in their restaurants? I've been to a few of these and it's almost always middle and upper class white people, who in this state, are way more likely to be pro-life. Just fricking stupid when you really think about it.

Cathead Distillery in Jackson was on the list - they got pushback and pulled out. They lost my business.

it's mind boggling as the AU poster said but I think a lot of these folk are likely carpetbaggers who think they're in a long episode of Treme.

where are yall seeing this? I looked at two articles and facebook, and so far I have only seen a few. This and Cochon were not on it.

We need a running list with links for all of us to take notes of. Maybe update the OP with the current list.

ETA: NEVERMIND! I now see the OP has indeed been updated with a running list. Good deal!
