New Orleans has always had a ton of problems, but I sure miss the Pre-Katrina version.

It was pretty obvious before this whole event popped up that the owners were ultra liberal and pro-choice... didn't stop you from eating there before.

I don’t care about their politics, but you are openly donating money to the death of children. So f$&k you.

I have a right to choose who I dine with.

Scoot on WWL was actively championing this effort but couldn’t seem to remember the name names of these restaurants...so I texted him while on the air to ask who was participating and he didn’t answer me.
Hmmmm wonder why?

Probably because of hold-overs from Newell. I love Newell. I'd like to hear what he has to say about this.

On one hand, I can’t stand Planned Parenthood. On the other, I can’t stand that they are federally funded, so private fundraising for them isn’t as bad considering.

Democrats in New Orleans are typically very poor and not patronizing these establishments. Like almost everywhere in the south, the successful people are nearly exclusively conservative.

Go figure, blue collar cities where people work for a living vote Republican.

Holy shite you're fricking obtuse. I'll try and make this simple for you, but I know you will still stick by your retarded statement.

We don't care what others' political opinions are, unlike you and your evil ilk. We DO care when they try to take those political opinions and ram it down our throats. We care even more so when they chose to take their business, which should be designed to cater to all people, and politicize it for one of your evil campaigns.

If people would shut the frick up and keep their political nonsense to themselves and their personal circle, none of us would care. The moment they turn their businesses into political propaganda machines is the moment we now have a stake in supporting or boycotting them.

I hope this helps fire up your synapses and create some clarity.

Do you really think that the people who spend money in these restaurants are part of that "Democratic stronghold"?

While I would not participate in a fundraiser for a cause I did not personally support, I will still do business with those who harbor different political views that my own. It's just like, my opinion, man, but I loathe the trend toward boycotting someone's business because of their politics.

Dude. Nobody is boycotting them because of their politics. We are boycotting them because they have politicized their businesses. How can you not see the difference in this?

Keep your politics personal, and you never have an issue. Of course we know most of these people are evil scum who promote the torture and murder of babies, but we don't care as long as they aren't forcing this shite into our faces.

I am absolutely shocked that Turkey and Wolf is on that list....SHOCKED

Compere Lapin and Coquette are the only 2 that i haven't been to, but wanted to try. Guess i'll skip that. Too many other good NO restaurants to eat at to have to deal with someone's virtue signaling.

What are the mental gymnastics required for you to rationalize the city of Los Angeles voting liberal despite the fact that millions work there, for a ton of money.

Good for them. and no, i won't stop eating at a restaurant because they have a difference of political opinions. I will stop eating at a restaurant if that person starts expressing those opinions and actively supporting such things as abortion, so much as to host a bake sale to raise money for a practice as disgusting as abortion.

Again, your own thoughts and feelings on a subject are yours. But when you start espousing things i disagree with, then i will no longer patronize your establishment. Words mean things. Actions have consequences.

As a small business owner in the retail space, I can't for the life of me figure out why these folks want to potentially alienate half their clientele. It's mind boggling.
