Exactly.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

You wasted 8 years with Jindal’s slash and burn policies. Louisiana hasn’t invested in it’s future. One has to assume that the best and brightest leave the state.

Louisiana’s reputation discourages companies from considering it for relocation.

When I return to visit family it saddens me because much of it looks blighted.

he just said he was a Trump supporter, not JBE,

Not being JBE should have bene enough. What do you have to lose?
We're last in many areas.
JBE will make sure La. stays last.
What policies did he campaign on that will turn the state around?
Oh yeah. He mentioned NO programs to correct the mistakes in his first term.
4 more years of the same, so we lock up last place for decades.
Our only hope is that Trump becomes our governor after his 2 terms as POTUS.

Well lots of issues , one bullits and guns don’t kill, people do, so u are getting into a 2nd amendment issue. Meat is food, like any food it should be part of a balanced diet, internet is another issue as my guess is since u are getting into interstate commerce. Eventually there will be some tax collections for internet transactions , taxing internet use no as that could get into a 1st anendnent issue of speech restriction so I don’t agree with ur comparisons

I don’t like using wiki but the excise tax on corporations is constutional, now what goods are taxed might be debatable , is taxing ammunition a violation of the 2nd amendment ? Good question I think it might be, is taxing the use of the internet Restriction of 1st , I think it might be, now taxing products purchased on internet for sales tax , no

Well my argument about guns is already mute. Given the 1913 Supreme Court ruling on excise taxes the federal government has defined what goods and services are subject to said tax, see link

Wrong. LA has worsened under JBE despite Trumps record high economy.

it's more like we're feeling the effects of reality more than it's gotten worse

is it possible for things to have gotten a little better under JBE? in the short term, MAYBE, but the issues are structural (now LONG term, the Medicaid expansion will bankrupt LA, however it's been a major boom in the short term)

Honestly, the US should kick us and MS out. We receive way more than we give. It doesn't matter who owns the ports. There's nothing to gain from blocking access to the river or oil unless you enjoy hurting businesses and being carpet bombed at the same time.

LA has to do this with huge risk/reward areas and if we end up on the bad end? ?

Louisiana had plenty of time to take risks while hedging bets to improve herself. It even got a Hail Mary in the form of federal funding gifted after Katrina. What to do, now, though..? Its time to consider slicing off some gangrenous fingers to try to save the hand.
