Friend, I have the Bible.......that's all I need to form my personal opinions. I'm sorry that I don't trust Tucker, Sean, Candy, Ben or the other talking heads who seem to hold such a high place with many of you.

Do you think the Bible fails to mention that the Jews had Christ crucified? Historically speaking, from the beginning of time they have turned their backs on Him, however that doesn't give you the right to determine that God eventually became so disappointed in His people that He simply abandoned them.

What would it take for you to completely abandon your own children? For me personally, there is nothing one of my own could do that would cause me to stop loving and caring for them.

This topic is not easy to navigate for most Christians. But I know this. Israel turned their backs on God many many times. And yes, God exiled them and handed them over to the Babylonians. He "allowed" them to be overtaken at different times to punish them for idol worship, breaking the laws according to their marriage covenant, marrying and having families with pagan women, defiling the temple, excessive taxation or interest on loans with each other, not keeping the Sabath holy, etc. They were under the thumb of other nations starting with the Egyptians all the way through the Romans.

But, remember this, there was always a remnant that would come back to God. God would offer a way of redemption, a way back to him through different prophets because he loves His people. We, gentiles are grafted in and are considered as part of His people now. So, yes, we should support the nation of Israel. Are all Jews in this world worshipping God, no. But I'm supporting the nation of Israel, the same nation that are the original people of God and now I'm a part of as a Christian. We, Americans are right to support Israel. Those who opposed the nation of Israel were dealt with severely when God was not using enemies to punish Israel. Often, they were wiped out, men, woman, children, animals. So, at this point I'm praying for Israel, the U.S., and those Iranians who want their freedom from Islamic tyranny. I pray those Iranians come to know Jesus like I have.

Sure, officially, on a piece of paper created by man. But you don't think they disappeared? The remnant of the Jews was scattered throughout the world but have been coming back home since official nation status was recognized. The cities and land didn't change. Just the control of it. Once it was reclaimed as the nation/state of Israel Jews started to come home.

Friend, I am a simple country man. I have a degree in Education that I've never used, but try my best to form my own opinions based on the multiple versions of the Bible I've read over the years.

I have no quarrel with you and my opinions on the matter have zero effect on anyone outside of my own family and myself. I have zero effect on foreign policy or how the US Government chooses to spend my tax dollars. I try to keep to myself and not cause anyone problems.

The sooner the US distances themselves from Israel the better for the entire world.
