Yay... another old as hell musician that is over 2 decades past their fame.
Who would be next? Iron maiden? Guns n roses? Judas Priest? Dolly Parton? Maybe britney spears?
People were tired of the forced nostalgia the NFL used to do with their sb halftime shows.
Most of the current country stars or stars in general are train wrecks. Outside of a small handful. So I can understand the nfl saying frick it, and trying to go with the international superstar approach.

George strait isnt a performer. He doesnt move his entire show just stands still behind the moc and strums.

The halftime show is a pop act. The NFL went with the old/boring acts post-Nipple-gate and it was HORRIBLE. Why would they go for someone like George Straight?

wait a second jethro you're gonna tell me you know who this bean schiter is and you're a fan of "latin trap" he's the king of spanish language rap music.
he is a sub category of a sub category my kids are in their 20's and they don't know who this guy is this was an odd choice for the half time show.
just another bad choice for the NFL to make in series of one bad choice after another.
