I had literally never even heard of this "Bad Bunny" fellow until he was selected to play the SBHS.
I have heard of George Strait.
But in fairness, the Super Bowl has a long-standing tradition of selecting anti-American performers to headline the halftime show. We've seen the halftime show headlined by Springsteen, U2, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Madonna, Lady Gaga and JLo. It's been this way for 30 years, but people only just now care enough to notice.
