There should be no refuge for companies with Anti-American policies!

Any company in the USA that exhibits anti-American traditional freedoms should be subject to immediate seizure by the state or agency that allowed it to exist. Why would you allow, let's say, a company like PayPal to continue to operate when it denies their own users the basic freedoms allowed by the country that allows IT to operate?
It should not now be allowed. These companies should cease to exist upon any action that is contradictory to the USA's prinicpals.
Prove me wrong.

Absolutely there needs to be more social protections.
You don't have the right to ban ideological/political opponents from social media. You don't have the right to push LGBT in everything. You don't have the right to fire someone over the Covid jab.
Essentially we have a society and big business doesn't have the right to usurp that. The rights of high finance, BlackRock, etc do not come before the rights of the people to have a society.

not so fast
how about let the free market sort it out first?
In paypal's case, I think it's already been done.

We don't have a free market.

Well then how about making it a priority to restore that, before we go full statist?

Sounds like nazi propaganda but ok

I quit using PayPal. It is up to us to decide if we choose to support companies that deny basic freedoms.

That’s a problem. It is the state that is allowing them to exist and in many cases incentivizing them to be anti American.

Yep. Think the infamous 'McCarthy Hearings' rooting out Commies not long past.
The Founders knew that Constitutional Freedom would only work for "a moral and religious people"; once enough of the populous becomes immoral and spiritually unaccountable for their actions, anything goes. And it will be up to the 'State' to try and maintain functional (think fair and just at the fore) society..."by whatever means necessary". And to do that, the Rights (Constitutional, God-given Bill of Rights) of individuals must be subordinate to that of the Collective. That is where we are. Herding cats. Won't fly, IMO.

So OP thinks that Biden should be able to shut down any company that he considers “anti-American?”
You won’t cry if your wish comes true, right?

None of these companies are really "anti-American". They are just not aligned with the type of America most conservatives and moderates want.

It's the proverbial camel nose under the tent, and why Dubya and his patriot act will eventually kill more Americans than the terrorists could have ever dreamed. Less centralized power is the answer along with a pro constitution Alternative.

The problem with this is that the party in power is the arbiter of what our principles are. How would you like it if Biden said "We are not a violent people, so the Federal government is hereby seizing all assets of Smith and Wesson, Ruger, Colt, Springfield Armory, and any other manufacturers of firearms, firearm accessories, and ammunition."? Then, when Republicans are in power, they seize Google, Meta, Twitter, etc. Eventually, half of our economy would belong to the government, having been confiscated on purely political grounds. No thanks.

As compromised and corrupt as corporate America is at partnering with the CCP, I believe our most prestigious STEM universities are even worse. Every major STEM university has hundreds and some thousands of Chinese students studying the most advanced scientific and cutting edge industrial/manufacturing technologies.....and they're taking that knowledge right back to the CCP, the same CCP that wants to knock the US off the top of the global superpower totem pole.
