There really is a gaslighting effort by the media to make this guy into a right winger

And it seems to be working. Liberals I know are all saying he was some right wing gun nut. Also saying the guy who shot Trump was right wing Republican and that almost all of the political violence is from the right.
At what point can we actually say that the MSM is acting criminally? In some cases they are outright lying, but much of what I have seen was to paint it all as sort of “murky”, and “we don’t really know” sort of attitude
The lemmings who only get their news from these media sources don’t know anything else

It's silly to even suggest it. Why would a "right winger" take a shot at a conservative Christian throwing around MAGA hats on a college campus in flipping Utah?

They did the same thing with the Trump shooters. It makes zero logical sense that MAGA would try to take out Trump and CK, but they don't let that stop them. It's sad and infuriating.

I'm hearing three themes fairly consistently in the media.
1. We don't know his political identity or motivations
2. He comes from a pro-Trump conservative family
3. Trump is not unifying the nation and/or weaponizing the Kirk shooting

Why not throw it out there? They know that the MSM will back them up on it. If a lie gets told enough, it gets remembered as the truth. There are still people who believe the "hands up, don't shoot" narrative from Ferguson even after it was publicly debunked in a court of law.
