Win what?
By "winning",do you mean losing some of their Constitutional Rights ?
Is that what you mean?

What do you call losing?

You got a shite ton of downvotes, but your point is legit.

The kids who have to live through this age will eventually make up a large slice of voters. ESP if it continues.

IMO, emotionally immature kids. Who are angry for some reason. Be it bullying, poor parenting, abuse, etc, etc. It certainly isn't access to firearms.

If the only person spreading the word at Church is the pastor, then that’s a problem.

Oh I agree. In fact, Barna just posted on their FB page that the number of Christians who "feel like non-Christians do not want to engage in conversation" is at 28%, up from 5% 25 years ago.

In my relatively small town in Mississippi, we have numerous churches.

The satellite campus of the "cool" megachurch, where there isn't really a pastor - they video stream a pastor in another city in. The technology is awesome. Its in an old warehouse. It attracts thousands every week at its multiple campuses.

Three old money churches of different denominations. These are the ones where grandpa served as a deacon, but have built on several times. If your parents or grandparents didn't go here, you can go, but you won't feel welcome.

The relatively large "In Trump we Trust" church, that tries to be a combination of the two above. Yeah, we're big, come see our cool technology - but yeah, we're sort of elitist, too.

Those five churches attract 60% of the church going crowd in my community. None of them are preaching the gospel. They aren't being fed. Their kids have a good time, but they aren't learning the essentials of their faith. The wives will be the first to post some beautiful picture with scripture embedded on it on social media, but they are the first to gossip. The men will tell tales of bible studying hunting trips where they really connected with God, but they are sleeping with their co-workers and buying off their wives and kids.

I'm with the left on the "thoughts and prayers won't do anything" train. But I think we need to go to a different station. Many of my FB friends that are all about the prayers for this and the local tragedy we have had in the Jackson area haven't seen the inside of a church except for holidays, weddings or funerals in years if not decades.

Im also with the "thoughts and prayers" is dumb. Dont say that, just pray about it.

Heres the thing about prayer...God's will is going to be done. We should pray for the strength to ACCEPT God's will. There isnt anything taking God by surprise. Is this horrible, yes, but historically it just isnt in the same stratosphere as some things people have had to deal with in history....the plague ...war ...genocide ...famine ...natural disaster

Everyone really should listen to Hardcore History on WW1. Men...if they lived...went through the closest thing to Hell there has been on earth. Death was mercy and it came often. Men rushed into places with furor KNOWING THEY WERE GOING TO DIE.

Do we really think we can engineer a paradise where bad people cant do bad things? The best thing we can do is give good people the freedom and opportunity to protect themselves and those around them from bad people.

You mean they are NOT learning that we need population control? How can this be? Do they not receive enough indoctrination 9 months of the year?

Are they not being taught climate change is man made and that all us evil men exhale the deadly greenhouse gas CO2?

Honestly got no idea why kids would devalue life. Let's ask the experts at Planned Abortionhood, er, Parenthood.

Yes,but they're not going to outlive my 3 year old daughter.
They can't be allowed to mess things up for her, before she gets old enough to speak out for herself.

That's what they want to do.

Because the moral decay of America worsens every year. This isn’t a problem going away anytime soon.

Is this something that's only happening in America?

I don't know the numbers, but a friend posted this on Facebook today

I live 17 miles from Santa Fe High School. All I will say is that we are the only western country where this happens regularly.

I have a feeling there are some holes in his argument.

The greatest generation spawned a bunch of kids who had it easy but thought they had it hard. They in turn spawned a bunch of dumbasses and here we are.

After the parkland shooting if any citizen can’t see how bad it’s government (fbi and Broward county sheriff) fricked up then there is no point in trying to persuade that person.

Right. But there is no reason to suspect that that was an aberration. So pretending the good guys will save the day is an exercise in stupidity.

We have transitioned into a highly narcissistic societal culture; 30 minutes watching tv commercials pretty much spells out the psyche of our Cultural mindset.

Throw in a heavy dose of moral relativism, Atheism/non-Belief and grievance-based Ideology (Marxism/'I deserve an equal share')...and then top it off with the half-formed, sociopathic mind of a late teen male who can't get laid...and it's a recipe for some get-even-ism.

These types are the most selfish people on the Planet; at least the Islamists believe they are murdering for an unselfish Cause. And it's just a matter of time before Society realizes this and turns on them with a vengeance.

Exactly, that's why good people need the means to protect themselves, against bad guys who will always have the means to do them harm.

Excellent post. This exact scenario was prophesied over 100 years ago by a very influential person.
