The global elites are the modern day Marie Antoinette. You should eat cake while they sell their stocks ahead of a disaster, commit insider trading and get away with it because lawmakers are in bed with them. They also get their ridiculously absurd bonuses while the rest of us take it in the arse again.

Like the collapse of 2008. Nobody was held responsible. Nobody went to jail. Supposedly angry phony ‘lawmakers’ held totally bogus bullshite hearings to yell at corporate criminals but the criminals didn’t mind getting yelled at.
Wouldn’t you get yelled at by lying lawmakers for millions of dollars. I know I would.

Plus it’s really just professional wrestling anyway. Everybody has their role to play and the public (middle class) buys their bullshite every time and believes it.

The game is rigged folks and the myopic dumbass public allows it. The Swamp is larger geographically and deeper than ever. There will be a world wide economic collapse but it won’t affect the Gates, Buffets, etc. So no biggie. They probably want a shake out anyway so they’re probably pulling for a collapse.

Don't even compare them. The French aristocrats had style, class, honor, education and noblesse oblige in far greater amounts than our current elites.

No thanks.

It was a proto-communist slaughter that totally destroyed France for two decades and led to the installation of a military autocracy, which itself was followed by a century of revolving government styles and revolutionary aftershocks. France didn't stabilize politically until the 20th Century.

Plus, outside of overturning the apple cart generally on the Ancien Regime, the Revolution itself didn't accomplish many of its goals. Hell, France returned to monarchy three separate times. The lasting reforms to France's economy, property laws, etc., did not come until the Revolution was over.

Major pass on that.

The first French Revolution didn't go so well. Why repeat a debacle?

They sort of found their way out of it with a strong leader, though.

Yea, a declared Emperor who was a dictator. Sort of an early realisation of The Magnificent One.

I know that you are just a troll, but a genuine person would have to suffer from extreme mental illness to compare the limited constitutional authority of a POTUS to Napoleon.

So is Joe Biden a reincarnation of Maximilien Robespierre?

Asking for a friend.
