These are the kind of stories Southerners after the Civil War told themselves and Germans after World War I too. The truth is that Nixon conspired with foreign powers to prevent the 1968 peace treaty discussions to help his electoral chances then proceeded to fight the war for 4 more years for a better deal only to basically get the 1968 deal.

Point to a single battle from the Vietnam War that ended in defeat for the US.

As I said, from a military standpoint, the US absolutely trounced the communists. The war was lost by Washington. Down vote it all you want. But what you can’t do is refute it.

I am no expert but I get the sense that in a war mass cheap drone attacks would cause very serious problems for our expensive planes and our expensive ships.

There will be no more “major ground wars.” Asymmetric warfare and precision guidance munitions are the present and future. This is what the Ukraine war has shown. Neither side can advance without a drone blasting them from the air.

Their military looks great in a parade but probably can't fight.

They don’t have the teeth to bite with power.

no they wouldn't

I would typically agree, as Indians are just nutritionally and passively weak people. Though they do have more to spare. I would say that the UK has imported so many foreigners that would support an internal take down. They've Trojan Horses themselves.

Same thing we are doing here with importing Indians, Chinese, and muslims. We are just able to hold it out a bit longer because we aren't an island smaller than the state of Florida.

However, the decisive battle will be fought in the Philippine Sea as the United States responds to an invasion of Taiwan by the Chinese military.

There are two types of warships in use today: submarines and targets. We don't hear much about our torpedo capabilities, but they were the original drone, I would suspect there are some brutal surprises in store for anyone who FAFO's.

The Japanese and Australians will enter any war in the Pacific involving China vs the US. North Korea will be taken out very quickly by South Korea and Japan. Iran will not take unilateral action against Israel in any major action, because Israel would make short work of Iran.

The problem with reacquiring a defense manufacturing base in the United States is you'd get opposition from people who consider themselves America First screaming, "MIC!!! MIC!!!"

I know a lot of America First/MAGA patriots over age 55, they have been concerned for 25-30 years about the de-industrialization of the US and how we're vulnerable to foreign leverage and dependency. I haven't heard one America First/MAGA patriot say they want US manufacturing capacity or capabilities diminished, that includes the capability and capacity of the US to produce all of its military hardware with minimal dependence from foreign countries, particularly our enemies.

We were really bad off when Pearl Harbor was hit.

We were out gunned, out trained, and behind in technology.

But we had the determination to change that, and the landmass to buy time.

Avondale Shipyard was purchased by

“T. Parker Host” and renovated into a true cargo shipping terminal.

Not to say that some it couldn’t be made back to a shipyard, but right now, it’s not what it used to be.

But yes. As a whole, the country needs to rebuild our heavy industries in general.

We still hold the technology, the air game & intel.

And NO COUNTRY in the World wants to come to the USA for a ground game.

The AMERICAN PATRIOTS, hunters and old school folks are the largest armed foot soldier force in the world.

The USA is a powder keg with the amount of munitions & weapons per household on average.

Or so I’ve been told, I wouldn’t know, I lost 30k rounds in a boating accident ??????????
