Looks like straight party line vote, muh bipartisan!

First article 23-19

Second article 23-17

Let the game move to the second quarter!

I know it's a broken record, but this is the most worthless batch of Dems ever.

I agree with you

This is how citizens must have been feeling at the start of the Civil War

And at the end of WWI, as that is when Wilson and his bullshite killed the party until the Depression.

Nope I believe the clerk stated the wrong numbers for the first vote.

All 17 panel Republicans, meanwhile, united against both articles, arguing that the charges rested on thin evidence and that Democrats proceeding with their rapid-paced impeachment push will set a dangerous precedent in the years ahead.

I am fuzzy on what you are specifically referring to here?

It's amazing to me how their blind hatred for the Don obscures their ability to see that this can only end poorly for them.

It is beyond highly unlikely to get Trump removed from office. It is highly unlikely to shift anybody currently on the Trump train off of the Trump train. And it is fairly likely to force people onto the Trump train who were originally on the sidelines, as well as to motivate those already on the train to continue full steam ahead.

My point being there have been several sets of frickups where Dems have had “mass extinction events”.

The end of WWI was one of them due to Wilson and a lot of his bullshite which was at odds with what the people actually voted him and the Dems in for. For example, his platform in 1916 was “He kept us out of war”, then we joined WWI.

This has to be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen in politics. It's absolutely insane.

PS: Never voted for Trump. Never voted for a Democrat in my lifetime.
