It’s pretty bad.

Meh, I think it's important to cut through the noise when people are calling things a #moderndaylynching and they're trending on twitter. The video isn't nearly as cut and dried as the race hustlers are making it out to be.

Yep but guarantee you if the shooters were black they'd be waiting the legal wranglings out from jail not from their houses.
If the shooter was black or the runner was white, or both, we wouldn't even be talking about it.
ETA: This is only a big story because people want to pretend we have some major white supremacist problem in this country.

Yeah. And the shooter would be in jail.

A large number of murders go completely unsolved.

A black guy waiting for a white guy in the middle of the street in Brunswick, Georgia with a shotgun and shooting him on video would be in jail.

Could’ve been Joe Biden’s son???

Even if you catch someone breaking into your home and they escape carrying your TV into the street you can’t drive in front of them and stick a gun in their face. Junior should be in jail.

White guys did nothing wrong

Anyone who believes he was just out for a jog probably has another agenda.

Except a DA said they acted in self-defense. So there goes that argument.
Yeah, unless Georgia law is vastly different than most states, you can't assault someone with a gun then claim self defense when they try to protect themselves.

Anyone buying into the notion that there is a gun in the roadway before the confrontation we see begins?
The image clearly looks enhanced/photoshopped. It's hard to tell from the video. (The 10-13 second mark)

Even if he was up to no good their actions can't be defended

Meh. The video only tells me a few things. Some bad, some hard to say. It tells me
1. There doesn't appear to be any reason to think this black kid was a burglar.
2. #1 being true, it also is a very narrow slice of time so, I can't claim to know anything about what happened before the video. IE, did he run from between homes or something? Just don't know.
3. #2 being true, the reality is, it just appears he's jogging and absent any evidence to the contrary, this would be a problem in court.
4. Regardless of 1-3, what the video does tell me is that at some point, the dudes were in a truck way away from the kid and then, at some other point, they were out of their truck and in close proximity to him.
5. #4 being true, I have no idea how that proximity distance was closed. But, I assume it's because the dudes in the truck caught up to him.
6. If it's because the dudes caught up to him and got out with their weapons, then they've got a HUGE uphill climb because there is no rational reason for them to do that. And, I should note, they did this all without either of them calling 9-11. If they thought the kid was a danger...…
7. There is, I suppose, a slight possibility that the reason they ended up in close quarters is the kid somehow doubled back as Trayvon obviously did. But, honestly, that appears VERY fricking remote and even then, if the kid was on the street the entire time, there's no reason to even get out of the truck.
8. #7 being true, it is still impossible to tell in the video if the shot came before, or after the physical altercation which, of course, would impact what level of crime occurred here.
9. Finally, while it is certainly reasonable to infer race as a reason this kid was followed, that inference isn't even close to being court worthy. There needs to be much more than "shooter/followers white, victim black" to prove a hate crime because if there isn't, then there are a shite ton of black on white hate crimes every year!
Bottom line. I see no justification at this point for them to be weapons drawn, out of the truck and in close quarters with this kid. But, I am also only looking at a very short video.

The Elder McGregor, being a retired cop, should’ve known better. They crafted this story to the police and one of the local DAs started to craft the story about citizens arrest. Both the son and dad should rot in prison in the worst conditions. Hopefully, the state of GA will get these two on a charge that can’t be defeated.

Are you suggesting that there aren’t good cops?
I admit that their actions during this China flu epidemic has been disturbing. Arresting people for running their businesses, showing up in armored swat vehicles.. etc
But seriously, there aren’t any good cops?
