We can’t stop Iran shooting ships.

A lot of people dont know this and why. Those missiles and drones cost a LOT of ordinance to bring down. For every single one of their cheapos, we spend 2 very expensive interceptors to be sure they go down AND were running low.

Iran is a threat to cause massive instability in the region by attacking key targets, the biggest being desalination plants which would displace 100,000s of people and cause a LOT of problems.

And as mighty as our military is, its not some big fat army camp to blow up. They're everywhere, theyre small, theyre numerous, and land invasion would be a miserable, long, expensive, costly nightmare.

This isn't simple, even holding the Kharg would be a massive strain on us, and they'd go as nuclear as they could in response. This is a war on our ECONOMY, not our military.

Also the deadliest and most similar to Iraq and Afghanistan

Hardly the deadliest since WW2, not even close.

About 4,500 Americans died in Iraq war( about 8years.

About 2,500 in 20 years of Afghanistan war.

Over 50,000 (52k?) In Vietnam.

About 36,600 Americans died in Korean war.

Do you do any history?

Well they launch missiles at ships transiting. Ships stop transiting. That’s called control.

Our military needs to physically take control of the strait

Probably afraid of the 'boots on the ground' blowback, but honestly he probably should. Takes a big threat off the board and tightens the noose.

And gives US control of a powerful (and defensible) asset.

Whatever happened to "it'll be over in just a few days." Then it was "two weeks." Now it's an seemingly endless military campaign whereby the COC doesn't know what the hell he's doing.

Trump should resign and somehow save face. Right now he's just a reckless, feckless uncompetent oaf.

Put me in charge and see if you can’t. War is not nice.

It's toppled. I wish you morons would stop saying this. You can say the new regime is as bad as the last regime but the Supreme Leader was killed on day 1. If our top leader was killed you would most certainly say the regime was changed.

If Putin was killed are you telling me it wouldn't be considered a regime change. You can certainly say the change was ineffectual but quit saying the current people in power are the same as before the war started because that simply isn't true.

All of the top leaders in the top posts of the Iranian government before the start of this action are dead.

Remove that point from your talking points because it makes you look stupid.

No because President Trump knows he cant leave it for someone else.

What if Harris or Newsome or Mandami or AOC or Waltz or any one of the crazy's in the Democratic party get elected.

To stop now would be devastating for this countries future

This the most critical time since Japan bombed pearl harbor and Hitler started in Europe.

Iran, China, Russia and the communist/socialist in the USA are the Japan and Germany of WWII.

Do nothing now and see what kind of world you have in a couple of years. It may not even take that long.

What a crock of shite. All new leaders is not the same freaking regime. That is fricking stupid. Go ahead and say it then. If Putin was killed it wouldn't be a regime change? Of course it would. Quit being obtuse just because you people hate Trump. You look stupid and riddled with TDS.

The new regime may be doing the same as the old but all new leaders is a new fricking regime.

President Anti ends this crap. One I seize Kharg Island and take that oil. Two I hit their infrastructure, They have no qualms about it. I drop bridges and blast power plants. Military targets so far as I am concerned. Also go after cell towers and any communications.

They want me to stop? Ask nice. and one more shot at a ship and there wont be any stopping,

At least now he is calling for public announcements.

Bastards call and beg for mercy, hang up and declare victory.

Carpet bomb their asses until they sue for peace.
