The main difference between Hunter Biden’s foreign dealings and the Trump projects is that the Trumps are brazenly open about theirs.
One was a quid pro quo dealing with an investigation, and the others aren't.
I hate the fact politicians make bank, but they all do it.

That Kazak mining deal was straight up pay-for-play....no different than Hunter's Burma deal.

It is such a blind spot for Trump and many on the right. Affordability is the reason the communist are gaining traction.

Not sure about that. A quick Google search says the other bidders were Chinese backed mining rivals

They’ll be investigating Trump for the next 50 years. It’s pitiful and not a good look.

Trump and Lutnik's kids were gifted shares in the mining company that "won" the contract. When Lutnik was negotiating with the President of Kazakstan, Trump personally got on the phone and helped close the deal.

It doesn’t matter if Trump is making money hand of fist off his office. The Dems are the last people on earth that need to be complaining and telling me about it. As much money as Nancy has made over the years. After the Biden family profited off Joe. As much fraud the Dems has let go out of the door. As much money as they have sent overseas for stupid stuff. I’m sure none of that ever made it back to them. No I don’t need to hear a lecture from the Dems about anyone profiting from the office they hold.

‘Member when Trump said, “I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?"
And we all thought that was hyperbole?
I ‘member.

President Trump's investments are placed in a revocable trust (often referred to as a "trust" rather than a true blind trust), with day-to-day management handled by a combination of his sons and independent third-party financial institutions.

If he ever does do that, I hope it's a commie.

House and Senate upset because only they are allowed to profit off their positions

Assuming all of this is legal, it’s still an unseemly display of using the Presidency for family profit.

That's fine, but how do you intend on continuing to vilify them for doing it but excuse Trump for doing it?
If you aren't worried about Trump dong it, does that mean you are going to stop worrying about Democrats doing it?
Note that I'm not asking if you're concerned about their standards. I'm asking about your own supposed standards.

And Biden sold influence. Where's your outrage?

The way I look at it is pretty much no politician in Washington from either party could pass a forensic audit. I’m sure some would do it to a larger degree than others but I’m pretty sure every politician is profiting off their offices in some way. The Dems would probably be the biggest offenders out of both parties as a whole. We already know Nancy does it. We know Joe did it. Trump may be doing it. I’m not gonna beat the cat for taking a shot in the floor though when the dog did it too. At least with Trump and the Republicans maybe the country can benefit every now and then somehow through better policies. Until the system is fixed though and no politician can make money off their offices the I’m not gonna yell at Trump because he does it.

It was in the WSJ today. I doubt anyone broke any laws. The optics still aren’t great.
