The Three Republicans, what will they do?

A couple of months ago I swore off watching any TV network or 24/7 cable news channels. At this point I have no idea what the three stooges (Murkowski, Collins or Romney) will do. I'll come back here for news as it unfolds. Please post if you know anything about it. I can't even go to the Fox News website for news anymore. And I don't desire to be uninformed. I just don't want biased or slanted news and "expert" opinion. I'm too old for that.

Even if they abstain, we're good. No votes could sink this ship, however.

Unfortunately there is no other kind.

An additional thought, a Joe Manchin “no” vote wouldn’t align with his West Virginia constituency.

Romney should be stripped of all committees and financial support if he resists. Same for Murclownski.

A no vote would be tantamount to “I am now a whacko liberal and will be changing my party affiliation tomorrow morning.”

Coke Mitch will tell romney he is kicked out of the party with a no vote I would guess romney votes yes and Collins and murk no

Murkowski will not vote. Does not necessarily mean she is voting No. Just not voting.
Mitt will reciecve pressure from home to vote yes. But he hates Trump more than he wants to win reelection so in my opinion that is a no.
I wish Alabama had held their nose and voted for Moore.
Collins is losing by a lot in a State that voted for Clinton un 2016. So who knows.
She may just not vote, but not vote No.

Voting no is an unacceptable position for any Republican and shows you exactly what they think about the Republican voters.

Mitchell's gonna get it worked out. That's what he does. And he's pretty good at it.

Will all vote no.
You might have 1 or 2 other republicans who do as well.
I'm going to be shocked if we get a confirmation before the election.

I honest to god think I can keep up with the world and nation by coming to this site and pressing some of the links. And I have my other news aggregator sites. And you get both sides here. I don't then have to put up with comments from Chris Stirewalt or Marie Half or any of those "experts" who are consumed by this stuff. I can't stand them anymore.

I think they will all vote to confirm the nomination.
Hate Trump all you want but this Justice will be here long after DJT.
in the end they will have to explain why they dont think Barrett is a competent Jurist. That's what this process is about....not fairness, made up rules, or TDS.

It's absolute foolishness if we plebes can see the forest for the trees here and they can't. And for them to vote no will doom the republicans to the political wilderness for the next 42 years. Mitch has to twist arms. The Republicans need to get the lot of them in a room and hash this out. Just drives me nuts that Rs acquiesce to the Ds all the time. Of all times this is not time for that.

Globalists installed Romney as a Senator in Utah for this reason. He's going to oppose like his life depends on it, which it probably does.

Romney has 4 years left on his 6 year term. He voted with the Dems on Trump impeachment. After this happened , the GOP controlled Utah state senate had to squash a recall petition against him.
The impeachment vote was symbolic. A supreme court nomination vote is a big big fricking deal.
If Romney votes no here the people of Utah will recall his arse and the Utah state senators will not protect him this time. Fool me once, fool me twice type of deal.
I believe Romney does not want to be recalled and will eventually fall in line.
Collins and Murkowski will be a no IMO.

I think this is a real scenario. I think Mitch would accept abstaining from the vote, but voting no at this point would probably result in them no longer being allowed to caucus with the Republican party and no committee assignments.

It isn't about that. It is about money. It always has been about money. They know what this does for Trump, and they cannot accept it. Money is being removed and they are losing their collective minds.
