This is why he didnt want them released, the publics lack of understanding is astounding. Most people in this country cant do their own taxes when it involves a simple standard deduction, including most journalist. So we have journalist, who in general as on the low end of IQ when it comes to college grads, telling the american people what to think about something they do not understand themselves.

I am fricking sorry...but someone that only takes college algebra, 1 basic accounting class and 1 basic econ class should not be explaining to the american people what to think about a complicated tax return like Trump has. Its fricking illogical that someone with a total of 9 credit hours in anything resembling math is explaining to the american public how to interrupt something that is put together by some of the best accounts in the united states.

also stupid that people and other outlets take the NYT at their word that they have the returns. Release them and let people decide for themselves if you have them. I dont need a bunch of people with an average IQ below 100 telling me how and what to think.

Agreed 100%

It’s not October yet. They will have more BS and the MSM will all be on board.

Yeah, not even October. We haven’t even got to Kelly, Mattis, and Tillerson issuing a joint statement endorsing Biden yet.

No reason to be sorry. You're right.

Any discussion of taxes in America does more to expose how little people know about taxes than anything else.

Is it just me, or is the tradition of sharing tax returns somewhat odd? There's no requirement of presidents or presidential candidates to share them. It just seems like at some point in the past, one side was bitching at the candidate and the candidate (stupidly) obliged to release them and started a tradition. You can believe in Trumps success or be skeptical. He has 4 years of presiding. Let's focus on that now. Releasing tax returns at this point isn't going to change what he's done, or anyone's opinions of what he's done.

Meanwhile, it IS a legal requirement that a presidential candidate must be a naturally born citizen, yet the left was dismissing the necessity to prove that point when Obama was running.

Why should we be surprised that a bunch of military guys that have made their career on being war time leaders, hate the only president in 30+ years not to start a new "conflict"???

Honestly as a liberterian leaning conservative, i see their endorsement of a pro-war candidate like Biden as plus for Trump.

In fact today I heard a commercial from the Biden campaign that said Trump failed to protect us and he would be the candidate that would protect the American public from domestic and foreign threats.....in other words he would start meaningless wars that would cost American lives.

The straw that breaks the camel’s back probably hasn’t been disclosed yet. I would imagine there is another one out there. It is all cumulative.

for the record, you are okay with writing off $70k in haircuts as a business expense.
