The strange thing about the media touting “only 7% of BLM protests have been riots”

They’re pushing this as if it’s a major gotcha and a BTFO of Trump. If an organization riots and burns down a city just one time it’s no longer a legitimate organization. Let alone 7 times for each 100.

Is BLM completely uninvolved in Portland? Because they are on a 90+ riot.

It means there have been 3 riots a day for the past 4 months. They are taughting this as a win.

BLM has rioted far more than 7% of the time. I’m just using the study and story the media is pushing on us that they think is a win for them.

They are likely counting protests like in Portland as one large protest over 90 days rather than individual ones. That’s their math.
Likely counting every like 20 person blm march where some friends randomly get together and shouted blm as they same as these large ones actually organized by these groups.

If someone needed a place to stay for a few days or so, but the caveat was there’s a 7% they’re gonna burn down your fricking house. Would you still let them stay?

Cool
Only .00013% of all police activity result in a police gun being discharged.

It's (this % BS) really a meaningless stat to show nonviolence unless it's truly zero point zero. Now going the other direction it would have some meaning--e.g., if it were 90%. Then, depending on the total number and impact/severity, we'd have to open some more camps and roll in the tanks.
But back to reality, how are they counting the number of protests and instances of violence? Are the concepts of "mostly peaceful" and "otherwise unarmed" involved before reaching the %? Do we include armed intimidation? Blocking traffic? Harassing innocent diners? Property damage? Looting?
Creating an environment where innocent citizens avoid places and activities is NOT peaceful.
Also, the term "peaceable" actually has a different meaning from peaceful. Higher standard. I don't want to start chilling free speech but at some point malicious defamation of even public figures, and inciting violence and chilling innocent people's free speech and assembly rights will warrant... enforcement.
The party of science strikes again with its "stats."

Can you imagine this line of reasoning being used for absolutely any other activity that devolved to violence 7% of the time? Seriously, replay the narrative to any other event that results in riots 7% of the time and listen to how ridiculous it sounds....
What if 7% of Black Friday sales started riots? Or 7% of birthday parties? Or 7% of taco tuesdays? Is there any chance that any of those realities would have the media portraying it solely as “mostly peaceful”? Would there seriously be even a single media outlet praising the “mostly peaceful taco tuesday” that resulted in only 7% of Mexican restaurants being looted? No chance.
The bold-faced duplicity in how they’re covering this stuff is astounding.

What was the percentage of nuclear bombs dropped during WW2?

“They’ve only killed people in 7% of their crimes.”

They only protested once in Portland........ its just been going on for a hundred fricking days.
But if they dont stop.... its still just the ONE riot!!
Genius.

It’s definitely higher than 7%.
They must be counting protests where one loon stands on the corner in town of 20 as a protest.
But interesting that the 7% is presented as not so bad. So if only 7% of police interactions with blacks were violent I guess that’s ok right?
