This is in Denmark outside the formerly named Women's Museum (since renamed Gender Museum)

quote:

There will be no art, no literature, no science. When we are omnipotent we shall have no more need of science. There will be no distinction between beauty and ugliness. There will be no curiosity, no enjoyment of the process of life. All competing pleasures will be destroyed. But always—do not forget this, Winston—always there will be the intoxication of power, constantly increasing and constantly growing subtler. Always, at every moment, there will be the thrill of victory, the sensation of trampling on an enemy who is helpless.

There are multiple sculptures in the Louvre that would best be described as hermaphroditic. One specifically is from Rome circa 1600 (Hermaphrodite endormi). Another is of Bacchus. Whether we like it or not androgynous themes have been a fairly persistent occurrence in art throughout history.

Oh no. Downvotes.

Looks pretty similar to the theme you’re worried about.

Show me one where a dude with a dick was breastfeeding.

Androgynous and intersex isn’t new. Blurring of what the genders are capable is.

That was actually done to a lot of Greek sculpture by later inhabitants of the area. Defacing art has been a staple of the puritanical for centuries as well.

No more than other art. It’s curious and thought provoking, but if you’re going to museums to find subjects that arouse that’s your deal.

My favorite piece of art is either Raft of the Medusa, the Oath of the Horatii, or anything by El Greco. I saw the first two paintings in the Louvre last summer. My grandmother had prints and I was always fascinated by them. I hoped to see the El Greco exhibit at the Smithsonian, but when I was there about 7 years ago the wing was closed.

Pro-trannies aren't pushing for androgyny, they are pushing for the ability to force others to lie about what sex they are and for the ability for children to have genital mutilation surgery regardless of age or maturity level.

Well, I’m not pro or anti tranny. I am for adults living the life they feel gives them the best chance at happiness when it doesn’t infringe on others right. I’m against permanent gender alteration in minors.

I think most are along those lines. The problem is that the movement has moved well beyond that to the demand for things like "deadnaming" or "mis-gendering" be considered crimes (hate crimes) and to push this onto children (even going so far as for insane parents pushing their kids into saying/thinking they are trans).
