Way back in '70s The Defenders were my favorite title. The superhero team who really didn't like one another. But I always thought the Surfer was such a bland character. And his power level fluctuated wildly from one story to the next.

Getting upset about female superheros is funny to me.
Comic books are fantasy.
Arguing whether super powers are male or female is literally one of the dumbest things on the internet.
That said... bad writing, bad storytelling, and bad acting are unforgivable.
And a lot of these storylines are crap.
