You and I might have helped her but let me tell you how it could easily play out in NYC. He claims she called him a racial slur, social media is plastered with pictures of this racist woman and her friend (you) holding her. You are doxxed, and your kids get the shat beat out of them at school for being racist and your wife is put on probation at work, never to get a promotion or raise, and forced to go to reeducation seminars on a regular basis. You are fired from work and no court would even consider giving you cause because they will plaster that picture of you and your racist friend (who probably has gone as far as tearing Wallace stickers off the back of cars). You are unemployable, end up divorced and homeless, but hey you did a good deed once.

I think that's supposed to be a gotcha, but I'm not sure what point you're making.
Are you saying that AP also covered the arrest of the shite stain? Several outlets did, although the actual crime received very little coverage.
My point about the NY Post is that they seem committed to doing daily coverage of the hate crimes occurring round the clock in NYC. Almost no one else is doing that, and the obvious reason is that most of the hate crimes in NYC are being committed by POC. The hashtag #stopasianhate disappeared from the media like a donut at a Weight Watchers convention when it became apparent that most of the hate crimes against Asians were being committed by blacks
And whether or not this particular crime fits the legal definition of a hate crime, or if it's just a POS POC being a shite stain IRL, my point about the NY Post remains. They're doing actual journalism in a city where political correctness is usually rule #1 for most content editors.

The bystander who saw it all happen and did nothing to give aid to the victim and just kept going up the escalator is just as big of a piece of shite as the kicker.
If I was there, it would be a huge debate in my head between helping the victim or going after the POS that kicked her, but I would likely rush to help her.
Instead, this bystander just did nothing.

A society that has gotten to this point where this is plausible is a society that is sickly cancer ridden and deserves to die and must die.
