Why is revoking access to health insurance for >20M Americans a cause for celebration, in your mind?
That's sick.

Repeal without replace (there is no replacement yet) = >20M people losing access to health insurance.
Nope. They are free to obtain health insurance.

Voter ID laws disproportionately affect minorities - sometimes so nakedly that the legislators are on the record wanting just that (hi, North Carolina).
So only whites are capable enough to obtain identification? How racist of you.

As I've stated, three times now, it was collective stupidity. That's a separate discussion.

Take "access," formerly meaning having the ability to approach, enter or use. In today's liberal parlance, when the state doesn't give you something for free, it's taking something from you. It's denying you access.

20M people have health insurance due to the ACA. When the ACA is repealed without a replacement, they will no longer have health insurance once their policy expires.
That's happening.

Unaffordable health insurance. If they don't have a pre-existing condition, haven't reached a lifetime cap, or don't have it rescinded after the fact.

Good for you, to admit you were wrong.

North Carolina specifically targeted voting practices that would impact more minorities than whites. Or are you going to dispute their own words?

We're not talking about those, we're talking about your contention that the Iraq war was Clinton's fault. Go on.

That doesn't mean their access to health insurance is being revoked. No one has said they can't get health insurance when theirs expires.

quote:Nope. Obamacare only had ~11.5 million sign ups in 2016. And of those a majority failed to finish the year by making paying their premiums for the entire year. Hell, a sizeable portion never made the first premium payment. Good grief.

You're neglecting those who will lose access to Medicaid when the expansion is eliminated. I'm sure it's useful for you, but it's not reality.

Prices have increased at a slower pace than they would have without the ACA. If you're talking about those on the individual market without subsidies, that's approximately 3% of the population. Not 80M.
