Correct. The overwhelming majority of Emergency Departments do not have the ability to test for it aside from doing a Chest CT and looking to see if things look ARDSy.

fact - coronavirus is no more serious then a bad cold and the regular flu we get each year is 10x worse

This is really how I feel about it — I’m really not worried about this more than I am the flu. Maybe I’m the one who is nuts but I don’t think so.

You must have symptoms, have had traveled to China, or known to been in close contact with someone being monitored or infected.

Yeah. This isn’t true.

And you know that how?

That is exactly what happened to the person in CA who the CDC wouldn't test because the person didn't fit the profile.

You're useless.

So if 300k Chinese have had the virus, most have shown no symptoms, and what, 3k have died? What is that 1% of people who get it died? What percentage of that is over 50? 75%?

Yea this is complete crap. Markets will rebound once China reopens all their factories.

100% FALSE!

The sample does need to be shipped to a testing site for the time being. So there can be a delay of a day or so in reporting. But testing is occurring.

You’re in every thread on this topic trying to spread fear and panic.

Given your history of TDS, it’s pretty obvious you want to hype this because you think it will be politically damaging to the President.

Just yesterday the WHO had it 1.4 to 2.5. Another source had it with a mean of about 4 (1.4 to 6.49), but if this thing really started in late November, if it hit a 5 or 6 at any point, that would have been like a match to gasoline across China.

I'm trying to be rational. COVID19 is not a rampaging disease outside of China. And it is not a big killer outside China or Iran.

This is SARS 2.0 until it isn't. Everyone would be best served by remaining calm until we have more information.
