What about the fact that showcasing black athletes as sources of entertainment actually helps reinforce racist stereotypes?

It gets worse. On the field they make mistakes, portray themselves as highly emotional, superstitious, and happy go lucky with their excessive celebrations and dancing. It’s practically a minstrel show.

Did LSU release a BLM statement or something?

LSU will not fully become DBU until we see one of our many Asian female students play defensive back in the purple & gold.

It’s time to recognize all underrepresented groups, LSU.

That fact that the fan base smells so bad and their colors are offensive wasn’t enough reason?

Not far from the truth. Lol. We have a mini-farm, with a pond with big mouth bass. Could hunt deer from the porch, I don't normally hunt deer... it's just as easy to hit them with your car where I am. Lol.

Yep, screw LSU Athletics and the spineless cowards “leading” the department. I’ll never spend or give another nickel that directly goes to LSU Athletics or the Marxist on the Academic side.

As I like to say, Thanks God for 2019 football. It was a great one to go out on.

Ole miss doesn’t know who their mascot is and smells strongly of defeat. Apparently an aroma you cannot make go away.

I don't have a problem with college kids doing dumb college kid shite for a day. I'm not a supporter of the players, I'm there for LSU. This is a temporary situation. If they confine it to this and the occasional display of political ignorance here and there, I can overlook it. This isn't like the pros. I don't watch any of that shite anymore because they're trying to cram this crap down my throat every game.

But what LSU better recognize is what this will do is affecting my buying decisions. I've got plenty enough LSU licensed products to get me by for a long arse time. And I don't have to go to the games to watch them.

Pay attention administration. You are tap dancing in a minefield. I'd watch LSU and buy their shite if they were all walk ons. I won't though if this becomes the brand.

Ok, so no more sports. Why not music? The music industry thrives on leftist ideology, even country music these days, so that's done. No sports, no music. How about movies? Hollywood is controlled by the left, so I guess it's just PureFlix from now on. I'm sure "God's Not Dead 8" will be a masterpiece. And as far as TV goes, my favorite show was always Frasier, and Kelsey Grammer is a proud conservative, but I can't let that hide the fact that everyone else on the show was a raging liberal, so that's cancelled too I guess.

So we're left with Veggie Tales, PureFlix, SOME country music, and no sports. What a time to be alive.

Use torrent and Usenet. Download videos/music instead of giving repeated views. Work around the system.

I stopped supporting them years ago due to lack of time.

Grandkids, kids, two other houses besides my main residence upkeep, wife wants to do things, and I like to fish in the fall when it cools off takes up a lot of my time.

This year I could really care less as all sports.
This season will lack the excitement without fans in the stands, playing out of conference quality teams to mix up the excitement, and it will be a short season or late season.

I have a feeling there will be a large majority of posters claiming they’re done w LSU football to indeed watch LSU football.

If you don't take your kids to the games, do they grow up as fans?

Do you believe this movement stops with a meeting between the players and administration?
Who is treated better, on campus, than athletes?

Wisconsin has been one of the most "Woke" states for decades.
Why the destruction of Kenosha?

Good. Any of you neck zeros with season tickets need to give them up so real fans can go to games.

You joke but that's going to be one of the next few steps in all of this foolishness. It's not enough for them to push acceptance of gender dysphoria as a normal and healthy mindset, they are eventually going to push it as part of integration quotas (whether a hard percentage or just as an idea remains to be seen).

Stay positive pimp

The world/humanity is about to experience a foundational change. The political machinations currently ongoing are the death throes of the outgoing system

I believe multiple factions are battling for how the change will look

We are headed places where sports may indeed matter a whole lot less (because you will have access to much better experiences). Stay positive. Adapt
