It starts at Yale and a professor of Arabic who romanticizes terrorism

quote:

Eric Ciaramella was radicalized at Yale by professors like Bassam Frangieh. He was quickly recognized as a fellow traveler and became an insider in the Obama administration. Unfortunately, he continued that through the first two years of the Trump administration. In October 2016, Ciaramella was the guest of Vice President Joe Biden at a lunch to honor the prime minister of Italy. But, in July 2017, as members of the Trump administration began to suspect that Ciaramella, by then a career CIA analyst and Ukraine director on the National Security Council, was responsible for “high-level leaks,” he was removed from his post.

If California fell into the ocean and every Ivy League university burned to the ground would America be a better place?

Note how similar in appearance he is to Edward Snowden, another "CIA whistleblower."

Note how his name is fictitious. His name literally means "whistleblower."

He's a "career CIA analyst." He is, IMO, compromised somehow and he is playing a role dictated to him from people higher up the chain at the CIA. They even go so far as to make sure their whistleblowers have certain physical characteristics in common. Nerdy looking type with a hipster beard and glasses. They must think those characteristics provoke feelings of trust with the average person.

"Radicalized?" shite. More like he was given the Escobar ultimatum. Silver or lead. Do as we say and you get to hobknob with important people. Don't do as we say and we expose your dirt and ruin you.

Nobody who works for the CIA is to be trusted.

That's Alex Soros, not Eric Ciaramella.

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if he were. He has a fake name.

Interesting OP.....there was another OP that asked what was the biggest threat to America, the MSM or illegal drug industry? My answer was neither.....

re: Question...Which Industry Is More Dangerous To Our Country, Illegal Drug Industry Or MSM.....Posted on 12/27/19 at 9:37 am to OTIS2

This question takes ample time to glean the right answer. The Prog/Dim educational system is the most insidious institution in American history......the repercussions of a leftist fueled educational system will be difficult if not impossible to remedy.

Your OP gives overwhelming credence to my answer.

No

Absolutely not

We need to figure out how to change those places, not eliminate them

Bass Tiger speaks the truth ITT.

To add to that, how many people really have a handle on what their kids' classes are like in college?

I ask mine questions sometimes to see if they are being fed postmodern bullshite, but I am confident I am more aware than most parents. And really, as recently as two or three years ago I would have been as clueless as the very most ignorant.

For most Americans, this shite snuck up on us. And now we realize it is so entrenched it is hard to imagine how we reverse course.

Universities need to see sociology/anthropology enrollment dry up to nothing.

Donors need to be made aware, and they need to start ripping up checks in front of chancellors.

The fill in host on Rush Limbaugh is citing evidence from a poll of 8500 college professors. The only areas of study where the ratio of conservative professors to liberal professors is somewhat close is STEM, all other areas are overwhelming progressive. The poll showed professors who taught communication type courses were 100% progressive......hmmmm no wonder I call the MSM the DimMedia. Lol!

And it's almost impossible to reverse. If one wants to get a PhD, it would take buying in - or at least faking it. And to fake it you would have to contribute a dissertation to that filthy body of work.

Woah now! Hold your horses. Anthropology? No way. That is far too diverse a field and far too important to advocate doing away with. Sociology too.

Instead of banning things like Nazis, we need to do a better job of cleaning these things up. Point out the flaws, and fix them. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water. FFS.

If you want to teach - all major universities have mandated Diversity Training. It’s full of emotion and yet the professors grade on what they call objectivity. A degree in academia isn’t what it used to be but still mandatory for white collar work unfortunately

Had to take a sociology course as an undergraduate at UGA. The textbook cost $75 in the '70's. Fraternity brothers provided said textbook (unreadable) and said "Just show up to class, put the book on your desk...easy B. Put some effort in and talk to this egomaniac, you can get an A. I can remember passing this textbook off to other brothers that had a later class.

I actually tried to learn something of worth through his lectures.

The textbook was written like someone had taken Roget's thesaurus and found the most archaic words in the English language, and applied them to the most bizarre principles any sane person would decry as insanity.

On the upside, Athens has become a Mecca for nerds, much like Georgia Tech has become a Mecca for nerds of a different ilk.
