We had the Marshal plan on WW2 and yes, they knew millions of Germans would starve to death in making the victory an absolute victory before supplies could reach the logistical necessity required to save the remaining.
You are literally just stringing words together and hoping they make sense. The Marshall Plan was post-WWII, genius.

Biden took all that away from the Afghan army when he pulled everyone out. This is why the Afghan army collapsed.
Also doesn't help morale when your allies leave in the middle of the night without telling you.

It's been reported by several vets who served there that the Afghan forces were often under / not paid, suffered repeated shortages of food & supplies, officers who were openly corrupt, etc.As a result, many of those in the army became disenchanted over time & came to only care about themselves & their families. It's not nearly as simple as calling them cowards.
Meanwhile, the Afghan President had too much cash to load onto his escape helicopter.

Officials worry Trump may back Erik Prince plan to privatize war in Afghanistan
"I know he's frustrated," Blackwater founder Prince said of the president. "He gave the Pentagon what they wanted. And they haven't delivered."

Also...something else that must be noted. the Afghans officially took over combat operations from U.S. forces in January 2015. Since that time, nearly 57,000 Afghan soldiers have died fighting the Taliban - 2,600 of them this year. By comparison, just under 2,500 Americans were killed in Afghanistan during the 20 years we were there - and none had been killed there within the last 18 months.
To say they are cowards ignores basic facts. They collapsed because we left them hanging and literally took away their most effective and vital tools literally over night. This was not a valid exit strategy. Biden failed the Afghan military by just upping and leaving without even saying good-bye. This is on him. Plain and simple.

You’re correct but for the wrong reasons.
Talk to anyone, including Biden, and they either directly or indirectly admit they aren’t surprised by the outcome- just the timeline.
They believed the failure of the Afghan forces was inevitable.
If we thought it was inevitable, they knew it was inevitable.
If you are part of the Afghan forces, do you think you should use your training to fight and die for foreigners who’ve occupied your land for 20 years, look nothing like you, and put up BLM gay pride flags on your buildings- all for basically nothing?
You’re just a pawn to them. You are being used to cover their exit and spill your own blood so they can go home and gain brownie points with other people who put BLM and gay pride flags on their buildings.
Or do you say frick it, and try to move on with your life with some sort of normalcy under a government that shares your values?
Which do you choose?

If the answer is so obvious to us, why wasn’t it obvious to our brass?

NVA invades South Vietnam in 1972. The Republic of Vietnam with American air support defeats the invasion. NVA regroups for 2+ years and invades again in 1975. No American air support. Game over. The end. (And, Joe Biden was in the Senate when it happened.)

I have heard this from multiple sources who would know. I believe this is 100% accurate and is part of the radical's plan to frick up shite everywhere so they can "build back better.

Biden lied people died.

Wait a minute we were told by Biden’s team just a few weeks ago that the Taliban only had about 75,000 jihadists?
75,000 eliminating 57,000 in Six years with full air support doesn’t sound like they were much good or even sorry troops for that matter.

All the American blood that was spilled in Afghanistan for 20 years has been all for naught. And now we leave our Afghan allies to face an unimaginable degree of retribution that will be medieval in it’s ferocity?
Saying this is a monstrous injustice fails to adequately describe what we are witnessing here. The deeply embedded entities in our wholly corrupted national security apparatus which have continually promoted this 20 year cl#sterf#ck are unconscionable, amoral bastards aligned with a bottomless evil.

Not sure it’s true, but sounds plausible…that the 300,000 ANA number that Biden mentioned is complete bullshite. Paper soldiers, that the corrupt government says exist, where the cash to fund, is actually going to the dickhead politicians.
I believe it, and it’s not one Admns fault. It’s on all of them.

I don’t see the paradox in that analogy at all. The Arvin fought hard and long until the American media embraced communism and made uncle ho a hero and President Johnson a villain.
Where did that happen here?
Clock kid bomber?

50% could not read and critical thinking is not something that would be fixed there as it is not common with average people hear let alone there . If they have no balls then this is a big sticking point . We train college kids and most are useless here as well

I have heard that in the past corrupt military commanders would turn in inflated numbers,as far as, the number of personnel that they had. Example: They would claim to have 500 men and they actually had 100 or less. They would pocket the extra pay or they would just pocket pay intended for actual troops. Dont know if it is true but I have heard instances of that happening. I can see that being possible in Vietnam or Afghanistan. I know that some.of the corrupt S. Vietnamese commanders would sell supplies intended for their troops on the black market.

Regular ANA were faced with the choice of fighting till they ran out of supplies and were killed or just giving up.
Not many of us would choose option A.
Especially if you'd been abandoned by your government/Chain of Command.

We, meaning the United States Armed Forces, trained the Afghan military for two decades. We schooled them in our military strategies and doctrines
This really doesn’t mean shite. You can have Mike Tyson in your ear for ten years telling you all the secrets to being a great boxer but as soon you step in the ring for the first time all of that goes out the window. You either fight and beat the guy across from you or you get beat.. when you’ve got the greatest military in the history of the world watching your back it’s easy to stick your chest out. When you see that same military stumble and bumble their way out of your country and another army out for blood, what do you think is gonna happen to the army we propped up? They ran because they’ve never actually had to do their own fighting

It’s a horrible situation as given, I don’t think anyone wanted or wished for this end result.
It’s the same result the Russians faced right before and they have a frocking massive land border with the country.
All that intelligence and volumes of think-tank scenarios were available, are available and yet the results are the same.
I’m sure the OP is really right in some ways but, the whole situation is embarrassing and tragic as a whole.
