In 2016/2017.

Trump just fricking did it.

Only two scenarios can get the train back on the rails...

1 he goes balls to the wall for the next 6 months calling out Ryan and McConnell for the next omnibus/budget... Then call their shutdown bluff just before the midterm elections.

2 he has credible intel that shite is about to hit the fan globally and we have to ramp up for war.

Otherwise, Trump just got cucked by cucks and joined and rehydrated the fricking swamp he promised to drain.

Well apparently not for many of his supporters who will support anything he does, at less defend it, so long as it's Trump who does it.

Well if we're about to go to a global war, then the increase doesn't seem like much, maybe not enough. So this choice seems unlikely although maybe he was gullible enough to be tricked into believing it.

every president ever has had people that will support them no matter what. But most Trump supporters are not happy today

Definitely trust John Bolton's judgment about what is and isn't credible

I can't respect someone who tries to defend Trump here. Posters that have done it are absurd.

This the type of statement I hear often from arrognant asshats. They mistake that these people know they've been sold out by both parties and mistake it for blind trust in Trump. They know he is flawed and wish a better candidate/leader was out there. Unfortunately, he is the best of the bunch so they overlook his flaws.

You can say this about literally any President. A portion of the electorate will always follow anyone blindly just depends on how many.
His support was always around a steady 30-35% will be interesting to see polls of his approval in the coming weeks.

Wouldn't even need to be credible

You realize he just hired John Bolton, yes?

Still a million times better than Hillary or Obama.

At least TRUMP doesn't hate whites and males.

And he gets or got mad pussy. At least he is no homo.

Too early to judge

He and Obama will likely have similar legacies

Naw, Trump would never do a worldwide apology tour, would never send a $150 billion to a country who desperately wants nukes, never draw a red line and get punked, etc...., on a 1-5 scale for POTUS Obammy is a solid .5

It was never drained so he didn't rehydrate anything. He's made it worse with every appointment.
