Had my kids in my 20s. Feel like it worked out great. I know a lot of people who were caught in arrested development.

f it is mostly white women doing it, that probably means most black women don't have the option to,

Is this your claim or are you throwing random theroretocals out there hoping for upvotes?

The pendulum has now swung from black women are welfare queens with multiple baby daddies to they can’t afford to have kids? I might have whiplash.

Are you ready to admit you were wrong and you lied yet?

I'm in a PhD program, too. I had the baby last semester (missed one week of classes) and I bring him to class with me on M and W nights. this is not an easy chapter of life. But having a baby again is AWESOME and I want 10 more just like him.

We had our last at 36. Wife got sick 36 weeks in and had to be induced, NICU for few weeks, but all worked out. Overreacted and got snipped. Should have had one or two more, we are the type of people who need to be having as many kids as possible.

I envy you.

" One guy I worked with was 55 when his new wife demanded they have a baby. He consented but was not excited. I said 'It'll be fun, Bob. Just think about going to the H.S. graduation when you're 73.'"

Or picking your kid up in middle school and the the other kids asking if that is your grandfather. Dude might not make it to 73, won't that be a good time for the child. The kid certainly will not know their grand parents because they will be DEAD and gone.

Have kids as young as you can and they will be better off. Also, if money is your concern then don't have kids. It is better if a parent can stay home and raise a children instead of farming them out. Their are plenty of ways to make money from home and certainly ways to cut out needless expenses.

The sooner you have them, and if you raise them right, the sooner they will be out of the house and off the payroll.

Now do abortions

Maybe I’m naive. I never really understood how often women were aborting. Serious question: is this really the case? Are there reputable statistics to back this up (I don’t mean an obtuse X users profile)?

My wife and I started a little late and I had my youngest at 38. I sure wouldn’t want to wait much later than that. You start slowing down in your 50s and kids need active parents.
