Honestly, I would be a lot more okay with that than deploying troops to Ukraine. It’s been beyond time we started cleaning up our own backyard.

I have an aunt that had a beautiful place in Cabo San Lucas. They sold out after a couple of acquaintances were kidnapped for ransom by cartel guys.

we should make policy based on your anecdotes. in high school we would go to Nuevo Laredo every other weekend and I never felt more unsafe there than I have in New Orleans

I’ve never been to New Orleans, so I can’t be sure, but if you ever thought you were safe in Juarez you were naive. I’ve been there a few times, right before the big cartel guy was killed there, which started a drug war to see who would be the next kingpin. They were hanging bodies off overpasses in El Paso before it was over.
